Our proposal is a true Covid-19 story. Trace tried so hard to have the proposal be in Florida at my favorite beach along with my maids of honor there to witness and photograph the whole thing. But, as we know, Covid-19 spares no one and as we were preparing our early anniversary trip to Florida (which is what I thought we were doing) Florida shut down it's borders. Trace suggested we head up to Asheville, NC and go drive the Blue Ridge Parkway. I was so bummed about not going to Florida (mostly bummed I was missing out on some JB's Fish Camp) that I insisted I didn't want to go anywhere that day and thought we should just stay home. But he FINALLY convinced me to go and I am so thankful! As we drove around the mountains and pulled over at a lookout, Trace got down on one knee and asked me to spend forever with him.Our proposal was just the two of us, surrounded by so much nature and beauty.
