Event Details

Haldi is a pre-wedding ritual during which family and friends rub tumeric on the bride and groom as a blessing. This will be a casual event with music, beverages, light snacks and games.

Following the Haldi, we will be having a short Sangeet, an event focused on music and a combination of both informal and choreographed dance.

If you'd like to perform a choreographed dance, please let us know!! Text Rujuta at 734-560-3451

Schedule

Haldi Ceremony: 1-2PM

Sangeet Dances: 3:30-6PM

PARKING IS AVAILABLE! Use LYFT code RNHALDI2024

Dress Code

Traditionally, guests wear bright colors for a Haldi, most commonly yellow, red, orange, or pink. Please feel free to wear American or Indian clothing.

For American clothing, we'd recommend sundress for women and polos with khakis for men.
