Rebecca and Ross first met in 2014 when they were both working for a finance company in Bishops Stortford. They were part of a larger group who are still all friends to this day, one of whom is responsible for them being together after pointing out that they’re a pretty good match - thanks Mat!
In January 2016 Ross and Rebecca finally started dating (although neither of them would admit it at the time). Ross also decided on a big career change and left the life of sales to try and get into Medicine. During these months Ross went on a ski season in Austria and travelled around Europe. Rebecca joined Ross and they travelled around Italy together.
After 18 months of dating Ross and Rebecca finally agreed to be an official couple! Their first outing as such was at his brother Cameron’s wedding to Roxy!
During Ross’ ski season he received the news that he had gained a place at the University of Manchester’s medical school! In September 2017 Ross moved back to Manchester and so began a year of ferrying back and forth every other weekend for the pair. During his first year in Manchester Ross took Rebecca on her first skiing holiday in high hopes she would share in one of his favourite hobbies.
After a year of travelling up to Manchester every other weekend and getting to know all that the city had to offer Rebecca moved to Manchester to be with Ross.
After more than 2 years of living together Ross decided to take the next step, after all if they can make it through a pandemic and some tough personal losses together then marriage should be a breeze!
