COVID FAQs
COVID-19 FAQs
If you have felt any COVID-related symptom (eg: chills, fever, dry coughs, loss of smell or taste, et cetera) in the last seven days leading up to our wedding, we strongly encourage you to please get tested and/or speak to a doctor before attending. The safety and the well being of all our guests is the utmost priority during this pandemic!
If we did not answer a specific question below that you may otherwise have, please contact us directly so we may help address any concerns.
COVID-19 FAQs
1. How many guests will be attending?
We have cut a large portion of our guest list to make everyone who is attending feel more comfortable. At this time, we are expecting up to 170 guests. We will keep you posted if anything changes closer to the date.
2. Will you encourage social distancing?
We can't wait to have all of our favorite people together in one place! With the current guidelines in mind, we encourage you to use your best judgment when it comes to handshakes, hugs or physical contact with any guests outside of your household. Nevertheless, we have created our seating plan in line with the current COVID-19 restrictions to allow adequate space between guests during the reception.
3. Do we need to wear a mask?
While it's not a requirement for our wedding, we completely understand and respect any guests who may wish to wear a mask on the day. Please note, the bride and groom's immediate family has been fully vaccinated along with the bridal party.
4. What additional safety measures will be taken on the day?
Please be assured that your health and safety is our top priority! Along with adhering to the current restrictions and guidelines, the following additional safety measures will be implemented at our wedding:
* Touchless hand sanitizer dispensers are placed throughout the venue
* All wait staff and bar staff will be wearing masks and gloves
* Food will be served by a dedicated staff to reduce contact between guests
* Our seating plan has been arranged to allow for adequate space between each table, and we will be trying our best to group guests according to their families and household members
* Gaylord National Resort has implemented enhanced cleaning protocols and housekeeping services for guests safety
5. Are we allowed to dance?
Yes! Dancing will be allowed at our wedding.
6. How will changes be communicated before the day?
We will be diligently working on keeping our wedding website updated with any important changes, so please continue to check back. In the unfortunate event that we have to cancel or postpone our special day, we will also reach out to all guests individually to confirm a new date.
7. Will live streaming options be available if we can't attend?
While we hope you can attend, we completely understand if it is not possible. Unfortunately, we will not be live broadcasting our special day. With that being said, we have engaged an amazing videographer and his team to capture the day, and we would love to show you the final edited video when it becomes available to us.
