Let's get together so we can welcome you all to the resort and celebrate our sangeet. This is a festive dance party full of energy and celebration. The sangeet is designed to get the bride, groom, family and friends into the festive mood for the wedding.

Dress Code

Indian wear or semi-formal western wear

9:00 am:    Baraat at Rotunda/Fountain

10:00 am:  Breakfast at Hibiscus Lawn

11:00 am:  Sikh Wedding Ceremony at New Providence Salon 1-3 

12:00 pm:  Lunch at Andros Salon 1-3

Meet at the Rotunda near the fountain to escort our groom to the wedding ceremony. This is an Indian tradition where the groom's processional leads him to the wedding ceremony amidst dhols (Indian drums), singing and dancing!

Dress Code

Gentlemen: Traditional Indian (kurta or sherwani) or formal attire (suit and tie) recommended. Head must be covered with a rumaal (handkerchief) during the ceremony. These will be provided before entering the ceremony hall.

Ladies: Traditional Indian attire or long dresses recommended. Modest clothing is requested (i.e. please avoid strapless tops, short dresses, shorts etc.) Head must be covered with a chunni (scarf) or rumaal (handkerchief) during the ceremony. 

Note: The ceremony requires all participants to be seated on the ground. Please keep this in mind when selecting your attire so that you are comfortable. There is some seating at the back of the hall for anyone who is unable to sit on the floor. In keeping with Sikh tradition, guests will be asked to remove their footwear and cover their heads before entering the ceremony hall. The floor will be carpeted and indoors.

Casual all white themed party to celebrate our wedding! We will have various food stations, an open bar, and a DJ to keep the party going!

This is a casual beach club party. You can be casual or semi-formal but we request that you wear all white attire.

Gentlemen:     White slacks or white jeans with white t-shirts or white button down shirts

Ladies:              White summer dresses or white Indian attire
