The Roce is a Mangalorean Catholic tradition where the bride or groom is cleansed for marriage with coconut milk and oil, followed by a ritual bath.
In practice, it has been described as a "one-way food fight," and that is what will happen here, the rite of passage whereby the groom must sit still while his friends pour whatever they please onto his head (raw eggs? syrup?). This will be followed by a good dunk in the ocean.
Dinner, drinks, and music are also in order.
