Welcome

In June 2017, Kyle and Rachel met in the SFO International Terminal for their Birthright trip to Israel, and Kyle took every opportunity to get to know her over the 10 days in the Holy Land. Over the following months we became enamored with each other (one quicker than the other) and our friendship grew into a relationship full of love, support, and laughter.

We have been together ever since, and in Fall 2018, Rachel began graduate school at UC Berkeley while Kyle maintained his job in Sunnyvale. As Rachel finished up her Master’s in 2020, Kyle was accepted into a graduate school program in Washington, D.C. and we decided to move our budding family (us and our beloved cat Oakley) to the East Coast. On a Thursday morning in October 2021, Kyle dressed in a suit and a t-shirt (he couldn’t wait any longer) got down on one knee in their apartment in D.C.

We can’t wait to celebrate the beginning of the next chapter of our lives with our loved ones at the Kessler home. Hope to see you there!
