The Cantor Arts Center opened its doors in 1894. Its collection spans 5,000 years and includes more than 38,000 works of art from around the globe.The Cantor Arts Center houses the largest collection of sculptures by Auguste Rodin outside of Paris, with 199 works, most in bronze but others in different media. The Computer History Museum

The Computer History Museum is adjacent to Google's headquarters. The museum has the world's largest collection of historical computing artifacts, spanning from ancient counting machines to autonomous vehicles.

Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve

Comprising 1,940 acres, the Palo Alto Baylands Nature Preserve is the largest area of marshland remaining in the San Francisco Bay Area, and it's a mixture of fresh water habitats and tidal habitats. The preserve is an important area for migratory shorebirds and many people think that this preserve offers the best bird watching on the entire West Coast.

The Stanford Dish

The Stanford Dish is a landmark radio telescope with scenic paved trail loops popular with local walkers and runners. Built in 1966 by the Stanford Research institute, the 150-foot diameter (46 meter) dish was funded by the United States Air Force in order to study the composition of the atmosphere.
Windy Hill Open Space Preserve

Windy Hill is named for its distinctive, breezy grass-covered hilltop, which can be seen from many areas of the peninsula. The 1,414-acre preserve features open grassland ridges and forests of redwood, fir, and oak and includes approximately 14 miles of hiking trails..
