"I called him Flash because of how energetic and fast he ran, and he called me Tea Queen because I kept bragging about how good my homemade tea was." ~Farah
"In 2018, I was looking for a queen. The first day I saw her, I walked right up to her, said hello and told her I'm Rafael. We shook hands. We had a few dates and got to know each other a bit. Destiny told us that it was not the right time. Fast forward a few years and destiny said it's our time, and in 2024 I put a ring on it" ~Rafael

"Destiny gave us a second chance in 2022. At the time, I was on a completely different, solo path until Rafael stepped back into my life and shared with me his visions, perspectives and dreams. Our conversations were way deeper and meaningful this time around. Together we dreamt about a shared future, one where we both work hand in hand to build a healthy family and a growing wealth. For the first time in my life, I felt like I had a true partner who I can count on, no questions asked. That's when the light bulb finally turned on in my mind and I embraced a new concept of love where our primary focus is authenticity and vulnerability, rather than social media image and propaganda." ~Farah
"By 2022, I had to make some decisions regarding the direction of my life: do I actively pursue a wife, children and share my life, or do I continue to take my chances by myself? Farah coming back around, at the very least, made me slow down and give us a chance. I was ok on my own, so I had nothing to lose. Getting to know Farah more and more allowed me to understand who and what was important to her. Much of what she valued and cared for aligned with my beliefs. It was enough for me (us) to choose each other and give ourselves the real chance to chase our dreams." ~Rafael

We began our relationship thinking long term. There was no other way for us. In March of 2023, part of our journey together was purchasing our first home. We, fondly, refer to it as, "The Castle". It's our place that we love so much and have given lots of effort and care to turn it into our home. Our family and friends are always welcome in our home.

"We both knew our engagement day would eventually arrive, but it was still important for me to surprise Farah with it because I wanted her to be happy with the whole experience. I chose my father's birthday, June 6th, at the home he and my mother created, in front of our families and friends to get down on one knee and propose to Farah" ~ Rafael. "For the first time in my life I said 'I do'. I knew this day was coming soon, but I was still left in tears and speechless when I opened the backyard door and saw a big, 'Marry Me' sign along with the beautiful smiling faces of our families and friends. I hugged Rafael and didn't want to let go. Those two magical words sound so simple, but left such a deep effect on me. And like Christina Aguilera sang in one of her songs, 'Cause I don't want to get married unless it's with you.'" ~ Farah.
