We met through mutual friends during our junior year at UCSD. We became good friends and started dating during the summer of 2014. In our seven years together we graduated college, started our careers (Kevin in aviation and Radhika in tech) and bought our first house in San Diego. We are extremely excited to start this new chapter in our lives as husband and wife.
We had planned a trip to San Diego to visit Kevin's family. On the morning of the proposal, we went out to brunch and then walked to the Torrey Pines cliffs. This was a significant spot since it happened to be the place that Kevin asked Radhika to be his girlfriend. We looked out onto the ocean and reminisced on our time here. Kevin then got down on one knee and asked Radhika to be his wife. Kevin's siblings, Caitlin and Sean filmed and photographed the whole thing. It truly was the best day of our lives (yet).
