Point Pelee National Park

At the southernmost point of the Canadian mainland - Point Pelee National Park, experience nature like never before.

Wine Tours

Explore the north shore of Lake Erie, located on the 42nd parallel amidst Carolinian forests and lake breezes. Believe it or not, Essex County wineries are officially Ontario’s oldest, starting way back in the 1860s on Pelee Island. With over 15 wineries to explore, you can choose to rent bikes, take a guided tour, or settle in with friends. Some of our favourites are Oxley Estate Winery, North 42 Degrees, and Cooper's Hawk Vineyards.

Detroit

Take full advantage of the "border-city" experience and visit historic Detroit! Detroit has a space for all interests. You could visit one of the largest and most significant art collections in the United States at the Detroit Institute of Arts (Van Gogh, Picasso, and Frederic Church to name a few). Or climb aboard a real steam locomotive, play pilot with the Wright brothers, and experiment in the lab where Thomas Edison had his light bulb moment at the Henry Ford Museum. Detroit has something for everyone! Our favourite attractions include The Heidelberg Project, Eastern Market, Third Man Records, and the Belle Isle Aquarium.

Golf

There are several great courses in Kingsville and the surrounding area. If you're looking for a quick fun game with the family, Oxley Beach, Canada's southernmost golf course, is a scenic 18 Hole Par 3 located along the Lake Erie wine route. For something a little more challenging, look no farther than Kingsville Golf and Country Club, a championship quality course, offering 27 holes inundated with trees, traps, hills, water and wildlife.

For the Kids

Kingsville offers many activities for the little ones. In fact, the best park in the area is the same location as our wedding venue! Lakeside park hosts a brand new splash pad plus great equipment, a beachfront, and scenic water views. Other family favourites are Jack Miner Bird Sanctuary and Colasanti's Tropical Gardens.
