It all started at the Story Bridge Hotel in Brisbane, 2015.
Sam had been to the cricket with some mates before heading to the local pub, and Rachel was just starting out her evening with good friend Somer. After ALOT of across-the-room gazes, Sam eventually walked over to Rachel and things got started!
They dated for a littler over a year, talking about their dreams of overseas adventures - Super yachts and sailing for Sam, London and European summers for Rachel. It was difficult, but they made the decision to part ways and fulfil their traveller ambitions in their 20's.
5 years pass, and both have an incredible time overseas.
In January 2021 they both happened to be in Brisbane visiting family, so decided to go for a drink at Tetto's... and well...they were off again!
Buying their dream home together in Mitchelton, Rachel relocated from Sydney back to Brisbane and Sam started making plans to also return home.
In September 2022 on a ski trip surrounded by work friends of Rachel's, Sam planned an extra special ski run and proposed. Of course she said yes (!) and the planning for this beautiful day commenced!
