Mamucha

A caring, sweet, and loving woman, mom is always looking out for me. My favorite moments with mom are during Sunday barbeque's at our house, where she not only takes care of everyone, but has a great time dancing and singing as well! Mom is always nurturing and sweet: she'll make you feel like family right away.

Edilbertha De Castro
Edilbertha De Castro
Mami

My mom, has had a truly fascinating life. She's the heart and soul of my childhood home, always cooking up delicious meals (Peruvian food is the best!) and filling the house with Spanish music. I may have not appreciated it as much as a child but now I realize how much her music and love for food have shaped my life.

Manny Cabezas

Papi
Kind, encouraging, loving, and fun - my dad is everything you could want in a dad. Also, here's a fun fact: my love for music comes from digging through his cassette collections! That musical influence is one of many positive impacts my dad has on my life. He is also a huge San Francisco 49ers fan, so I'll just say this cause I love him: "Go Niners!"
Luis De Castro-Brilhante
Luis De Castro-Brilhante
Pai

My dad, born in Portugal, instilled in me a love for his homeland from a young age. I learned the importance of independence from him, and he even taught me how to drive at the age of 12. He's a hard worker, and I admire him for that. I also hope to see him let loose and enjoy himself on the dance floor!

Bridesmaids
Mildred Planas
Mildred Planas
Maid of Honor

Mildred and I go way back, like forever. She's the ultimate best friend - always knows the perfect gift to give, the next concert to hit, the best shopping spots, and has that accessory that will complete your outfit. Mildred is the one who makes plans happen and always knows how to have a good time. I'm so grateful to have her by my side on my wedding day. If for some reason you don't find her on the dance floor, just hand her a Red Bull and watch her go!

Fabian Saa
Fabian Saa
Man of Honor

Meet my best friend and man of honor, my "you jump, I jump" partner. We've been through it all together, including some hair-raising adventures that almost took us out (but he's got the stories to prove it).  From our wild adventures around the world to the everyday moments, he's always been there for me, and I'm thrilled to have him standing with me on this next adventure - my wedding day. I know there won't be a chance of dying this time, but I can guarantee that by the second hour of dancing, his shirt will be off.

Nadeen Nakib
Nadeen Nakib
Bridesmaid

Nadeen is the life of the party and always knows how to make everyone feel at home. She's fiercely loyal and will have your back if anyone messes with you. She is deeply passionate about social issues, and is deeply invested in understanding how they affect her friends and family. If you see her on a FaceTime call, she's probably planning an "Irish exit" so be sure to hand her a drink ASAP!

Casey King Hollister
Casey King Hollister
Bridesmaid

Casey is that friend who always has solid advice, and is never afraid to try new things. She understands my quirks and craziness and is always there to lend a listening ear. Casey and I are also united in our love for our fur-babies, trashy TV shows, unsolved mysteries and gossip. Just beware, she's the one in the group who's always snapping embarrassing pictures, so watch out! :)

Marco De Castro
Marco De Castro
Bridesman

Meet Marco, the ultimate older brother. Not only is he a wealth of knowledge, but he's always eager to learn more. As my brother, he's always been there to guide and protect me, and I'm so grateful to have him by my side. When he says "listen, listen, listen," brace yourself for a thrilling convo filled with insights and perspectives.

James Lyons
James Lyons

With James by your side, you're guaranteed a good time. He's known for his quick wit and sassy comebacks, adding a touch of humor to any conversation. Whether it's a dinner party at his place or a night out on the town, you can count on James to make it an unforgettable experience. If you get a side of his sass, you are in his good graces.

Tara De Castro-Godoy
Tara De Castro-Godoy
Dog of Honor

Tara, also known as Tarita, Mama, Mamerr, and Old Lady Bones, is my soul dog. She's had a tremendous impact on my life and is an integral part of our family, and it only makes sense that she's included in our biggest day in some way. Just don't say the word "frisbee!"

Stacey Periera
Stacey Periera
Bridesmaid

I've known Stacey since she was just seven years old. I'm in awe of her carefree spirit and her ability to roll with the punches, no matter what life throws her way. She's beautiful, fearless, and unapologetically herself. I love and admire her for who she is. She is most likely to tell you "I met some people outside, they have a penthouse and invited us over after the wedding."

Whenever I think of Nitin, one word comes to mind: bromance! A fun and kind soul, Nitin is willing to rise at 8am to watch a Formula 1 race with you the morning after raging at a music festival. You'll see him running around the dance floor at our wedding - be sure to join him!

Getting Around

Q+A

When should I book my travel?
As soon as you know whether you'd like to attend, we recommend booking your travel and accommodations. New York is a major city and reservations fly quickly.

When should I RSVP by?
We'll nail this down when we send out formal invitations and let you know.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Cocktail attire. For men, this could include a suit and tie, or a sport coat and dress pants. For women, a cocktail dress. We hope this helps!

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
We kindly request that guests arrive at the venue by 6:00pm, as the ceremony will begin promptly at 6:15pm. Please note we don't run on Miami time here so be there early!

How far is Brooklyn from Manhattan?
Brooklyn is just a quick hop from Manhattan - roughly 15 minutes on the MTA, or 20 minutes by car, dependent on traffic.

Are their hotel blocks?
No, we don't have any hotel blocks. However, we have a wide range of options for accommodations available under the "Accommodations" section. You're welcome to browse through the list of available hotels and choose the one that best fits your needs and preferences. Don't hesitate to take a look and find the perfect hotel for your stay.

Will there be valet or parking at the ceremony/reception?
Please note that there is no designated valet or parking lot available at the ceremony/reception location. There is limited street parking around Greenpoint, so please build in time around your arrival to find parking.

Can I bring a +1?

If your invitation does not include "and Guest," we kindly request that you attend the wedding alone. We've carefully selected each guest to ensure that our closest friends and family are a part of this celebration. Thank you for understanding, and we can't wait to see you there!

Can we bring our kids to the wedding?
We love your kids and would love to see them, but this is an adults-only celebration.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Absolutely. You will be able to note any special request(s) and/or dietary restrictions when you RSVP.

My question is not on here, what should I do?
Reach out to Priscilla & Mauricio via text, email or give us a ring!
