Welcome

×

We are getting married at St Mary’s Church in Woodbridge on 8th July 2023 and would love for you to join us!

Following the service, a reception will be held at the Fruit House on Hall Farm in Charsfield.

Key People
Bridesmaids
Gina Schwarz
Gina Schwarz

Joined at the hip from pretty much day 1 of university, Phoebe and Gina met while studying Psychology in Liverpool.

Having survived the  3 years of studying, they booked a round the world ticket  and disappeared off together for nearly 5 months. It was certainly a trip to remember with some hair raising moments including a few nights in a Favela in Rio and being mugged by 8 years olds on a beach in Cambodia!

Separated by distance they don’t get to see each other as often as they’d like but when they do get back together it’s as if time hasn’t passed.

Lucy O'Brien
Lucy O'Brien

Lucy will tell you her first memory of Phoebe is meeting her age 10 wearing an 'I am a Glamour Girl' t-shirt, something she doesn't let Phoebe forget.

5 years of sitting next to each other on the bus to and from school each day formed a strong friendship. They bonded over the dodgy CD collection they'd listen to on their Sony Walkmans.

Despite living at near opposite ends of the Northern line they still met up regularly for catch ups be it a swim in the River Deben or a brunch in the East End.

Alexandra Horsfield
Alexandra Horsfield

Alex is Phoebe’s oldest friend. Having met on their first day in reception at the age of 4 they’ve shared a lot of experiences including surviving a prison cell styled room while on a french exchange, the perils of Mrs Davies in maths class and family holidays to France and Spain.

Now living as pretty much neighbours in South West London, they regularly catch up over dinner and drinks or to wrangle the 'dog of honour' across Tooting Common in their lunch breaks.

Groomsmen
Jack Gospage
Jack Gospage
Best Man
Jack and I have been friends since the tender age of 13! Having spent four years together at school, we were put in ‘in charge’ of our house and only narrowly avoided being bullied by the younger year groups. We have soaked up the culture of Zante and Thailand together, as well as numerous cities across the north of England. He is kindly orchestrating a further culture-filled trip to Budapest in June 2023.
Benjamin Bill
Benjamin Bill
Usher
Ben has now survived 29 years of being Phoebe’s brother. Despite meeting several years earlier, I (Joe) got to know Ben properly during a four-day bike ride from London to the South of France in 2017. This involved getting hopelessly lost less than 40 miles from London, spending a night on a ferry floor in soaked cycling kit, as well as being chased by a three-legged (French) dog! Whilst not in the pubs of Woodbridge, Ben spends his days making bespoke furniture in London. If you need a good recommendation for a drink the night before the wedding, or indeed a cupboard, give him a shout.
Ashley Pullen
Ashley Pullen
Usher
Ashley, aka First Officer Pullen, is the reason that Phoebe and I met. Having spent five years at school together, he ventured north to Liverpool a year before I did and fell in with a lively group of friends, one of whom was Phoebe. Having only met Phoebe on a night out, I must credit Ashley with allaying Phoebe’s hesitations about me by confirming I lived in a house with an Aga, as well as a golden retriever. Fortunately, she then agreed to go to the cinema with me and the rest is history!
Finn Johnson
Finn Johnson
Usher
Finn and I have been running together for years and have become great friends. He will be leading the charge on the pre-wedding run and will almost certainly be the last on the dance floor at the end of the night!
Master of Ceremonies
James Dawkins
James Dawkins
I have known James for more than 18 years now having met at school. We were in the same boarding house and without doubt saw more of each other than our parents between the ages of 13 and 18! After school, we spent six months manning the microwaves at the infamous J.D. Wetherspoon before travelling around India and Thailand together.
Dog of Honour
Inca
Inca
Dog of Honour
Little introduction is needed for the Dog of Honour, Inca the black Labrador.  Inca joined Phoebe and Joe when she was 8 weeks old in April 2021 and was affectionately referred to as "the accidental Labrador" as they found themselves with a lot more dog than initially planned for. She's become a part of the family and joins them on the majority of their adventures documenting as she goes by posing for photos and uploading them to Instagram. Needless to say their wedding day wasn't an adventure she was going to be left out of!
Getting there (and back)
Getting there (and back)
Buses

Coaches will be available for guests to travel from the church to the reception.

We will also be arranging a return bus to Woodbridge at the end of the night.

If you would like to make use of one, or both, of these options, please let us know when you R.S.V.P.!

By Car

Woodbridge is situated just off the A12.

If travelling from London (allow 3 hours) the A12 can be joined at Junction 28 of the M25.

There is no parking at St Mary’s unfortunately, but there are plenty of other parking options in the Woodbridge area (please see attached map and allow plenty of time to find parking and to walk over).

The Reception is taking place in Charsfield, which is a 20 minute drive from Woodbridge.

There is ample parking in front of the Fruit House and cars may be left at the venue over night for those not using the buses.

However, please note that all cars must be collected by 11am on Sunday morning as farm machinery needs access to begin the harvest!

Taxis

The Fruit House is in a remote rural setting and therefore we strongly advise to book taxis well in advance if not travelling back on the Woodbridge bus.

The following taxi services work in the area:

1) M&R Cars - 01394 386661

2) Cabs Smart - 01394 461461

3) Hawk Express - 01473 222222

4) Base Cars - 01394 420716

5) Crown Cars Framlingham - 07472 837946

By Train

Woodbridge can be reached by train from London Liverpool Street (c. 1hr 45m)

Please be warned that the train service is not always reliable at weekends, especially on Sundays, and you may be subjected to bus replacement services.

We would recommend driving, or car sharing, where possible.
