Dining Spots

The list below is split into Casual/Fancy/Views to help you gauge what kind of place it is, as well as price range ($-$$$). All the places below we have either been to ourselves or were recommended by the locals. Top tip though where ever you go, Croatians know their fish, so we recommend you try local.

Tabasco (Casual - $)

Very simple looking cafe, serving good pizza. A good stop over if you are hungry on the way to/from the cable car as you walk through it to get down to the old town (just at the bottom car park).

Pantarul ($$)

Great food - being out of the city and the buzz of the main streets, this place has more of a local vibe, although they are going for a quirky new world style, so it does not stand out as traditional Croatian. In saying that, it does not take away from the food being delicious.

Nautica (Fancy/Views - $$$)

If you are after views, central location, fine dining style and everything that comes with it, this is your place - beautiful views, great food (we haven't been, but have been told).

Restaurant 360 - Fancy/Views ($$$)

Top place, hence a deserved Michelin star to match. Restaurant with the views to die for and food to match.

D'Vino Wine Bar

Great little wine bar tucked away on a side street in the heart of the city. Great selection of wine and cheese/meat platters, amazing atmosphere. (Located in the old town)

Craft beer bar, microbrewery. It is located out of town centre and near the port, but a great place for a drink before/after boat trips and day cruises if you are planning any. (Located in Gruz)
