Restaurants and Things to do
Restaurants- Valle de Guadalupe

The Baja culinary scene has caught the eye of many around the world.  Expect a delicious meal from small cafes, fishing village palapas, food trucks, or high-end restaurants. Anywhere you go, you’ll find food filled with flavor and a global influence. Enjoy!

Fauna: Carefully grown ingredients, thoughtful selection and combination in order to create a series of flavorful, strong and simple dishes... we were made to share.

Deckman's: Deckman's is more than a culinary concept, it is a multisensory experience where we are 100% in contact with nature, which leads to being exposed to the environment (the restaurant is partially designed to be outdoors).

Finca Altozano: Finca Altozano is about may lie in the astonishingly beautiful setting. The entire place is out in the open, with the Valle de Guadalupe's fields taking center stage. It's so surpassingly pleasant—summer or winter—that hours go by in minutes and daylight dims nearly unnoticed. And a lot of what the place's food is about is bringing that outside onto the plate. The produce and some of the proteins come from those grounds and are brought to the table with culinary manipulation kept to the perfect, necessary minimum.

Laja: Jair Téllez’s remarkable destination restaurant is an homage to the surrounding countryside and its products. The stone barn-like building was built in 2001 by the chef-patron with the help of a group of local workers, many of whom eventually became part of his team. Winemaker Andres Blanco later joined as co-proprietor, making the most of Laja’s original vineyard.

La Cocina de Doña Esthela: Perfect place for breakfast. Ask for the corn hotcakes!

Corazón de Tierra: Corazón de Tierra is the reflection of a unique land, the Baja California Peninsula; a place where austerity goes in hand with intensity. Chef Diego Hernández offers a window into the inner workings of the elements that make up Valle de Guadalupe.
Products are grown sustainably in our garden and animals are sourced whole from neighbors who raise them in the most natural way.

Origen inside Encuentro Guadalupe: Origen is an open kitchen, but respectful of the ingredients, sometimes irreverent about tradition and standards. A culinary adventure, an exploration of ingredients in the northern region of Baja California, a laboratory of flavors, colors and shapes by Chef Omar Valenzuela, who is part of a new generation of chefs in the Guadalupe Valley and Ensenada.
