CIao Mexico
Hello Canada

IT IS TIME!!!
We leave from our respective cities and land in Mexico.
(that's usually how air travel works)
We settle in and get ready for the beach!

This is not mandatory by any means!
This is your vacation, do with it as you see fit.

We will be having dinner at the main buffet at 6PM :)

This will be our bachelor/bachelorette party. Except in Mexico. The world is our oyster!
(but don't actually eat the oysters. We need you in tip-top shape)

This symbolic ceremony will take place at the beach. Guests can enjoy the wedding under a beautiful gazebo.
(without melting in the Mexican sun)

The Sapatia Ceremony is one of multiple Ismaili wedding traditions.
Two sets of clay plates (“Saapatia” ) are placed in front of the bride and the groom.
Each contain:
- Moong (bounty of nature)
- Silver (material wealth)
- Sugar (sweetness and harmony)
- Turmeric (good health)
The couple must break the “saapatia” by stepping on them in order to release the gifts they contain. Traditionally, the first to break the “sapatia” is believed to rule the household.

Dinner will be served at a private beach-front restaurant for our invitees.
Menu choices will be made available closer to departure.
Should you have any allergies, intolerances or dietary restrictions, please inform Isabelle at the time of booking.

The party continues into the night!
We will head to the on-resort dance lounge and show em how #themanrays2019 do!

But alas, nothing lasts forever.
We must end our week-long celebration together.
I am positive the memories we've made will last a lifetime

(or maybe more with SocialMedia these days!)
