Olivia and Dennis have known each other since birth, but it wasn't until the winter of 2017 when they connected. At that time both were in different cities. However, they made it work with many trips back and forth to Columbus, Virginia Beach, and Pittsburgh.
By summer 2018 they both had enough of being apart and decided to buy a home at the Cavalier in Virginia Beach. Their home wasn't fully complete until the addition of Sumo, the French Bulldog. Over the next two years their time was filled with making new friends, enjoying their neighbors and neighborhood, and many many many walks with Sumo.
As summer 2020 turned to fall, Dennis knew that he wanted the love he shared with Olivia to last forever. Olivia had always said that all she wanted in a proposal was both families to be there. With the help of his sisters and future sister-in-law, Dennis was able to make this happen on the beaches of Naples, Florida, in front of the building his grandparents had lived in. Surrounded by family, the candle-lit proposal went off without a hitch and as Olivia said YES, a thunderous applause was heard echoing from the hundreds of onlookers drawn to their balconies by the romantic scene.
Olivia and Dennis are so excited to celebrate their love with friends and family this Fourth of July weekend.
