How it all started…with a dad joke
With covid restrictions, there really weren’t many options to “go out”. Mandira started cooking food for our dates, and it was amazing! We would scope out local parks in the Fullerton community since it was half way for both of us and she would bring hot food in the cutest little tiffin.
The first time Nipun met Mandira’s parents, a beautiful family date filled with love, hugs and lots of food (including Malaysian food which Nipun had for the first time)! Notice the respectful, sideways awkward hug :)
The first “party” we went to as a couple, Nipun expected something different when he heard “fellowship”…what a nerd
The first time Nipun cooked for Mandira was on Valentine’s Day 2021. BBQ hot dogs and french fries with ice cream dessert (all of her favorites), along with an outdoor movie showing in a local park…boyzzz got skillzzz!
Words can’t describe :) when our momma’s met and the friendship blossomed. Huggy :)
4/3/21…a date that occurs only once a century…had to make it count!

The day the rings of power were “officially” exchanged. Nipun’s ring is so awesome! Ask him about it and he’ll tell you the magical properties it holds. Can you guess what we are trying to say with our hand signs?
When a corn dog grew out of Mandira’s head and we celebrated it. Highly recommend going to 626 Market, it’s amazing! This was our first time going to a major gathering of people when covid “temporarily” slowed down in summer 2021.

Nipun has been wearing vans his entire life, the day he finally convinced Mandira to get a pair for herself was a milestone. Can you guess whose shoes are whose?

We have a special surprise in store for our guests during our sangeet. A whole lot of origami butterflies! Butterflies flying in sync represent marital bliss. This specific butterfly is on top of Mt Whitney, the highest elevation in the lower 48 states. We have placed these butterflies in various locations throughout SoCal, and will continue to spread them throughout the world throughout our lives
Nipun is not too big a fan of celebrating his birthday, but 2022 was made extra special with lots of love from family and friends. Thank you everyone who made this an extra special birthday for Nipun! (special shout out Navi & Paul :))
