We are thrilled to announce that we will be getting married on July 8, 2023 in Julian, CA at Oakwood Creek Celebrations.

Julian is a very small town, therefore transportation options for Uber/Lyft or cabs is going to be almost non-existent, unless booked ahead of time. Luckily there are several options to stay either walking-distance to the venue, or a short 3-5 minute drive from the main road.
If you are planning on staying in the town of Julian, you will likely want to book your stay several months in advance. The small location of the town means that the lodging options will become more limited as the wedding date approaches.

There are many great vacation rental options nearby - either walking distance or a short drive to the venue. One thing to keep in mind while you are browsing is that some rentals don't open up their availability dates until 3-6 months in advance. If you find a vacation rental you like and it is not yet available, consider reaching out directly to the host for booking options.

We will only be able to accommodate the guests listed on your invitation at this time, due to our venue capacity.
The venue does not have their own parking lot. Parking will be limited to free street parking near the venue/in the town or a paid parking lot nearby. There is generally several free parking spots available, however the closer spots might fill up depending on how busy the town is that weekend. There is a paid parking lot nearby that is about 0.1 miles from the venue/3 min walk. The fee is $5 for the full day. This lot is located at:

Food & drinks to be provided by Julian Beer Co. There will be appetizers and a delicious BBQ dinner served with several different options, including vegetarian. A variety of beer, wine and seltzers will be provided to enjoy as well.
Please feel free to wear whatever you are comfortable in! However, if you'd like some direction we'd say our dress code is anywhere between casual to cocktail. Please note that the venue ground is gravel, so if you were intending to wear heels, block heels/wedges will be your best bet.
Julian generally stays a bit cooler than its surrounding cities, however July is known to have some heat waves roll through. The average July temperatures range from a high of 87 degrees and low of 63 degrees. We're hoping it stays within this range for our wedding weekend as well! The ceremony and reception will be outdoors, however there is plenty of shade at the venue.
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! However, if you would like to honor us with a gift we have registered through the Honeyfund website (link listed below). Please do not feel obligated to get us anything.
At this time our future living situation is still unknown. Due to this uncertainty we would prefer gift cards or cash rather than items we would potentially have to move.
