Hotel Indigo

The Hotel Indigo is the main hotel block for the wedding.  This hotel is located on St. Charles Avenue along the main parade route and will be the meeting spot for wedding guests to meet for parades throughout the weekend.

There is a two night minimum because it is the weekend before Mardi Gras and the rate is $189 per night, plus taxes (for either two queens or one king).

Guests may book by either calling the Central Reservations Line at 1-877-394-5763 and providing the Agent with either the block name (Simoneaux – de Lisser Wedding) or the block code (SLW)

The Old No. 77 Hotel & Chandlery

For those of you who wish to stay closer to the French Quarter (but not right in the middle of it), this is one of our favorite hotels in the city.  It is a bit pricier, but has a ton of New Orleans charm and will likely be the location for at least one weekend cocktail meet up.

Airbnb or VRBO

New Orleans architecture is divine and boutique hotels and Airbnb options are great and sometimes more affordable.  Please keep in mind a couple things when booking.  First, the wedding is the weekend before Mardi Gras and navigating around the city with blocked off streets can be challenging.  If you go this route, please aim to stay close to event locations or plan for plenty of time to navigate to activities.  Second, New Orleans has pockets that are not so safe.  Please do a little research on your location or reach out to us with questions before booking.

One Night Stay / Cheaper Option

For those of you who are looking for an option to stay over only one night.  Hotels in Metairie and Kenner (New Orleans suburbs) are a great option.  They are cheaper than downtown and usually do not require a two night minimum that weekend.  With no traffic, they are about 15-20 minutes from downtown.  With Mardi Gras traffic, they could be more like 30-40 min.  Below are a few options:

La Quinta New Orleans Veterans - Metairie

Courtyard by Marriot New Orleans Metairie

Residence Inn by Marriott New Orleans Metairie

Ramada by Wyndham Metairie New Orleans Airport
