(Nick pictured in 2nd grade)
Nick and and Raelee met in Mrs. Esquivel's 2nd grade class (not that either one of them remember actually meeting each other). They attended Leon Springs Elementary together from 2nd grade to 5th. The small school allowed them to be in the same 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grade classes.

Raelee and Nick were both in speech therapy together with Mrs. Bromley. Their favorite part by far was getting to leave class, and having extra holiday parties. Good luck to their future kids.

Nick moved to O'Connor high school and Raelee went to Clark high school after they both graduated from Rawlinson middle school. They wouldn't meet again until Nick transferred to Clark high school their junior year. Nick says he remembers first seeing Raelee at one of her volleyball games, and asked his friends about her. Raelee remembers walking to her truck one day, getting in and looking up to see three of his friends staring at her in front of a red truck. Later it would be revealed Nick was standing with them, but hid behind his truck when he saw Raelee coming, he was too nervous to talk to her yet.

On their first date (a week or so after the truck incident) they saw the movie Wreck it Ralph on their first date and got ice cream after the movie. They also happened to go to the same move as Daniel Samaniego (the best man) and his family. So Raelee met Nicks best friend, and his family on their first date (no pressure right?).

Nick asked Raelee to Prom during their Math class, he had the teacher put a hand written note on the projector with a James Avery box. The note said "Raelee will you open this?" with an arrow pointing towards the box. inside the box was a ring with a heart on it that had "Prom?" engraved on the inside. It was the first ring he had ever given her, and clearly not the last.

Nick and Raelee graduated from Tom C. Clark high school together in 2014. They weren't able to attend each other's graduation parties because they were accidentally scheduled on the same day. They are determined to plan their wedding better than their high school graduation parties.

After five years together, Nick proposed on November 17, 2017 on his Aggie Ring Day. Nick claimed it wouldn't be fair for him to be the only one to get a ring that day.

Nick and Raelee graduated from Texas A&M University at Galveston on May 11, 2019. The time spent at Texas A&M proved to be the best years of their lives thus far. They met so many amazing people, made some lifelong friends, and they are so excited to be part of the Aggie Family.
