If flying in and out of Denver, we strongly suggest reserving return flights home either before 12:00 PM or later than 5:00 PM, as traffic is unpredictable through the I-70 corridor and you can be delayed 3+ hours.
AIRPORT OPTIONS
Yampa Valley Regional Airport (Hayden -- 22 miles from Steamboat)
Denver International Airport (DIA -- 179 miles from Steamboat)
DRIVING OPTIONS
Flying into Denver will require you to commute on I-70 West through the mountains. It is a beautiful and scenic drive taking a total of 3 hours. We highly suggest making this drive during the day, and checking weather & traffic conditions.
Flying into Yampa Valley will require a 20 min drive into Steamboat.
SHUTTLE OPTIONS
If you would like to reserve shuttles to and from Steamboat Springs, please book them on your own. We recommend doing this if you are traveling as a big group or have no interest in renting a car. You can reserve shuttles from Denver to Steamboat from Alpine Taxi.
