We’re getting married!

×

Hello and welcome to our wedding website! We hope that this will help provide you with all the information you need leading up to the day’s events, as well as a little bit more about us :)

As mentioned in our invitation, our goal is to celebrate this day in the safest way. Our original statement to guests was:

“Please send a photo of your vaccination card to so that we can make sure we have you marked down. If you have chosen to not get vaccinated, please send a photo of your negative covid test dated no earlier than May 28th.”

Because California made vaccinations available to all in April, we are excited to report that over 85% of our guests in attendance will be vaccinated. With that, we will have achieved herd immunity for the remaining guests. This will also be supported by an entirely outdoor wedding. Masks are welcome, but not required.

Thank you and can’t wait to celebrate with you all in May!

Megan
Megan
When I was three years old, my family moved into what has now become our forever home in Yorba Linda. As I was helping my dad take out the trash one day circa 1992, I noticed another girl my age on her dad’s shoulders doing the same. We excitedly exchanged hellos and much like Dale and Brennan, I’m almost certain we simultaneously thought to ourselves “...did we just become best friends?” Although I consider Meggie one of my best friends, she is my sister and I can not recall a time in my life that she was not a part of it.
Laura
Laura
Laura and I met while working the 4am shift together as EMTs our first few years of college. Not only did she keep me safe as my driver on the ambulance, but she has continued to fill the last ten years with endless belly laughs, countless memories chasing her across the country, and endless adventures... usually in our onesies. She is the best friend a girl could ask for and is unconditionally there when you need her the most.
Stephanie
Stephanie
Stephanie and I became close friends in high school Spanish class, where we quickly learned that as the two girls who already knew Spanish, we must be partners for everything. As young teenagers through young adult life, we shared many firsts together ranging from first high school dance to first high school "party" to first time getting completely lost on a freeway just minutes from our house. We have shared so many fun times and fond memories together, I can't wait to see what is next.
Ashley
Ashley
Ashley and I met briefly at a birthday party nearly ten years ago, although it wasn’t until these last few years that we really began starting trouble. She has been my right hand gal when it comes to vacations. Whether it be living our best life at Pride, a last minute P!NK concert, or a turn around trip or two or four to San Diego, she's there. Ashley is made of equal parts wit as she is kindness, and mischief as she is loyalty, and for those reasons she has quickly become one of my best friends.
Shadi
Shadi
Shadi and I became friends several years ago on a trip to Vegas with some coworkers. Given we were the only two girls going on the trip, we decided to room together not having had known each other too well prior. After spending out first night out together, we quickly realized that this was not only going to be an amazing weekend, but an even more enjoyable friendship. From dining at the best restaurants to dancing in the finest venues... to three of us losing our phones and me breaking my ankle to a stranger's stilletto, the weekend was truly unforgettable. Though we all went on that trip as colleagues itching for a break, we left it as close friends with stories to last us a lifetime :)
Paula
Paula
You know how couples begin to look alike as they grow old together? Well, I guess you could say that’s what happened with Paula and I. After several years of working together, we quickly were dubbed the twins of the Neuro ICU. From our hair color to the cut, to our shoes, to our backpacks, with time we became indistinguishable to most of our colleagues. She was the first and best friend I ever made at UCI as a new grad nearly seven years ago. Fortunately, our husbands and her baby girl have now allowed for us to have a distinguishing factor, though we look forward to the day where Baby Jordyn will have a little playmate! :)
Groomsmen
Mike G
Mike G
Mike has been my longest-lasting friend. I’d almost define my youth by the countless hours we spent loitering around our town’s video rental store. We trained at the same dojo for years and went on great adventures walking to nearby towns. I had a standing invitation to his house after school, though we had to be sure our snacks didn’t ruin his family’s dinner. Mike is one of the best men I know, and I’m pleased to have him as my best man.
Peter
Peter
Peter and my friendship got off to a rocky start. After kicking him off our sixth-grade social studies assembly line, he spent the entirety of seventh-grade earth science wrestling me for test answers. Since that time, our friendship has definitely matured. Together we set up his father’s apiary and designed the best cross-country sweatshirts. I still have my ticket from his law school graduation, and though I hope to never need his services, I know he will always be available on retainer.
Mehul
Mehul
Mehul and I met on our fraternity’s bid night. He convinced me to go to medical school, and even tried to keep me awake in all my classes. The two us managed to find a good balance between studying and hanging out; he showed me all the best moves including the baby elephant and the gargoyle. I had the pleasure of dancing bhangra as a groomsman in his wedding, and I’m sure he’s relieved he won’t have to do the same.
James
James
James and I had our first adventure on our fraternity pledge roll; he is still likely to tell you how I saved our lives that night by finding the north star. Since that time, I could scarcely walk around without James singing the theme song he had invented for me. Whenever I wanted to go out, James was always ready, though he might get sixteen loco along the way. He’s never completely gotten over his obsession with me, as evidenced by him getting married six days after me.
Mike L
Mike L
Mike and I have been friends since he won coolest costume at a party during our medical school orientation. He was always very supportive of my cooking, and for that Mitra owes eternal gratitude. Mike planned the best trips and get-togethers, and some of my favorite nights ended up with me powering down at his apartment. Mike, I’m looking forward to the vacations our families will take and seeing your little one call you “DAD.”
Danny P
Danny P
Danny P and I spent many medical school nights watching old movies or playing Sporcle with a Bay Bridge sampler. He was always our trivia team anchor, though my contributions were terribly unimpressive. We’ve gone on quite a few trips, though none quite as wild as during our final year of medical school. Though I fear he’ll never leave Miami, I can always hold out hope that someday he’ll be my gas man.
Alex
Alex
Alex has been my roommate for the past three years. We’ve had our fair share of problems to solve; mainly as we worked our way through The Witness and The Talos Principle. Mitra and I can always count on him to choose the dopest take out, from Pizza Press to Taco Stand. Panchito, as Mitra and I get our own place, just remember that you’ll always be part of our Costco family plan.

Rancho Las Lomas

Directions to Rancho Las Lomas

Address: 19191 Lawrence Canyon, Silverado, CA 92676

Rancho Las Lomas is a private estate and zoological garden located in the foothills of Orange County. The grounds includes an open-air museum where Eli the serval lives, Ziddle the zebra breathes, JoJo the macaw squawks, and Lily the White Bengal Tiger growls.  It is about a 25 minute drive from John Wayne Airport and both Laguna and Newport Beach.

Flights

John Wayne Airport (SNA)

Although LAX may cost less, we highly recommend flying into John Wayne Airport (SNA) in Orange County. We have made some recommendations on the next page for hotels in surrounding cities which are less than a 15 minute drive from the airport and a 25 minute drive from the Rancho Las Lomas. Los Angeles is a bit further a ways from Orange County, making a drive from Los Angeles anywhere from 45 minutes to well over two hours, depending on the time of day and day of week.

Things to Do

Disneyland & California Adventure

Important to note that there is Hopper pass for both parks or you can buy a pass for 1-park only or 1-park per day for two consecutive days. Disney's California serves alcohol and Downtown Disney is a great place to feel the Disney ambiance for free.

Pacific City - Huntington Beach

One of our favorite places to go and enjoy the great California weather is Pacific City. Here you can to eat, shop, and drink with great panoramic views of Orange County's beaches. Some of our favorite restaurants include Bear Flag Fish Co. and Ola Mexican Kitchen. If you're looking for some drinks and music, you can find locals at Bungalow's Rooftop Bar and Tanner's Rooftop as well.
