Ellie Hallner (soon to be Heller!) was Alexis’ roommate at Cal Poly SLO — all. four. years! In the same room no less. Ellie had a front row seat as Alexis and Mitch’s relationship unfolded. Alexis will never stop calling her ‘her roommate’. Ellie’s drink of choice is a glass of wine or a local San Diego brew.
Bree Boylan is Mitch’s (much cooler) sister. She is also the person who inspired Mitch and Alexis to live in Madrid (as she did so first). The couple might not be one without her! Bree is an avid traveler; Alexis and Mitch can't wait until they all embark on their next adventure together. Her drink of choice is red wine or a margarita.
Nicole Ludwig was Alexis’ sorority sister, roommate abroad, and roommate in San Francisco. Traveling and living together has formed a sister like bond. She was with Alexis and Mitch the first night they kissed! Her drink of choice is a hazy IPA or glass of sangria.
Jackie Baldwin was Alexis’ roommate in Madrid and friend at Cal Poly SLO. She was also convinced by the couple to make the best decision ever— to move to Denver. She likely holds the record for most alone time spent with the couple, before and after they started dating! Her drink of choice is a shot of Casamigos silver or an espresso martini.
Kyle Pietrzyk was Mitch’s first friend when he moved to San Diego. Since middle school they’ve shared countless days outdoors, always followed by a California burrito. Kyle has been to many concerts with Mitch-- and even Alexis. All three actually went to a rock concert together in high school. There is even a picture to prove it. You can rock out with Kyle and a stout beer.
No, it’s not Shaun White. Gavin Boylan is Mitch’s brother, who also went to Cal Poly. Gavin has always known everything and more about animals. Feel free to find out for yourself, he has even worked at the San Diego Zoo! Beyond his passion for animals, Gavin has a passion to help. He is slated to join the Peace Corps in 2022. Gavin is up for a glass of wine, as long as it is paired with some cheese!
Ernie Hahn III is Alexis’ brother who lives overseas in London. Don’t be surprised if he throws in some British phrases. He also chose to live abroad for school after Mitch and Alexis took him out to Kapital in Madrid? Interesting. Ernie is quick witted, a great listener, and good with babies & grandparents alike. Talk to Ernie about British history over a manhattan.
Carter Hahn is Alexis’s youngest brother. He keeps the couple in the know with all the Gen-z lingo. The couple likes to take credit for Carter’s attendance of Cal Poly SLO. Mitch and Carter are often fired up about basketball, and shoot hoops when available. Carter loves cider, so don’t be shocked if you catch him with one!
Ryan Gibbel, better known as simply ‘Gibbel’, was Mitch's roommate, coworker and even Fraternity brother at Cal Poly SLO. Ryan also studied abroad with both Mitch and Alexis, sharing in countless memories. When Ryan’s around, there isn’t a dull moment. Mitch and Ryan enjoy friendly competition across pool, ping-pong, and Fantasy Football. When Ryan isn’t breaking a pool stick over his leg, he enjoys a hazy ipa.
Kellyn Posten was Mitch’s Fraternity brother at Cal Poly SLO and roommate for four years in San Francisco. Heck, he lived with both Alexis and Mitch! Kellyn and Mitch have been spotted on occasion suiting up and sitting at a bar-- so they are ready for the occasion! Kellyn has a bunch of hidden talents, and a knack for befriending every bartender in town. Kellyn is more than likely drinking a Guinness (never cold), or sipping on Irish Whiskey neat.
Kevin Park and Mitch have been coworkers, roommates, and at one time gym buddies. But their overlapping passions don’t stop there. Sports, music, food, and blackjack to name a few. Kevin is a festival enthusiast, and has attended quite a few with the couple. When Kevin isn’t placing a bet, you can bet he’ll enjoying an IPA.
