Stuart Taylor
Best Man
Stu and Mike have been close mates for over a decade, starting out as roommates in university and remaining inseparable since. They both share a love of fishing, a particular Underberg music festival and good old fashioned bush adventures. Moreover, the groom also has Stu to thank for engineering the very first meeting of his bride-to-be, Megan, 8 years ago. Stu is a gentleman and a fiercely loyal friend to Mike. One couldn’t ask for a finer set of qualities in a best man.

Phil is Mike’s brother and partner in crime, circa. 1993. They share the same hearty laugh and a wicked sense of humour. Phil can be jolly fine company around a campfire and many have learned to look out for his cheeky grin when he’s up to something. Mike couldn’t be happier to have Phil standing beside him on the big day.
Alistair Conn
Groomsman
Ali is not only Mike’s future brother-in-law, but also one of his favorite people. He is hands-down the coolest man you could ever have the good fortune to meet. From the moment they met, Ali welcomed Mike into the family with open arms and made him feel right at home. They have since shared many great moments together skiing down snowy slopes in Megeve, enjoying sunny Zambezi river sessions, and some very lively times in the Cape. Look out for Ali’s golden curly locks and infectious laugh.
Simon Silcock
Ceremony Officiant
Simon has a special place in both Megan and Mike’s stories. He is a close family friend of the Conns, (he was Andy’s Best Man) and he knew Mike well during his formative years at St Johns College with Josh, his son. When the happy couple first became an item, while visiting the sleepy hamlet of Clarens, it was Simon who they revealed the news to first. Look out for his charm, wisdom and mad skills on the guitar. It will be an honour to have him officiate the big day.

Roddy is not only a cherished cousin to the bride, he is also a well respected family man, a gifted orator, and great company. With charged glass in hand, his commanding presence will keep things light hearted and flowing smoothly on the big day. Look out for his boyish grin, sharp wit and fabulous hair.
