A treasured part of Moroccan Jewish and other Mizrahi marriage celebrations, the Henna is the perfect pre-game to a wedding. Usually done one week before, the Henna is thought to ward off the “evil eye” and symbolizes fertility — music to any Jewish mother’s ears.
Full of ritualistic costumes, aggressive Moroccan music, and plenty of brown plant-based dye to goop into your hands (we’ll explain when you get there), this will be a once-in-a-lifetime night. This Henna will have everything — golden thrones, blood-thickening sweets, those Wombat Club hats from Rugrats, and Zeibekiko dancing.
Bottom-line — this Henna is going to Morocc your world.
TRANSPORTATION
We will be organizing transportation for out of town guests from Tel Aviv to the wedding venue and back. Details and times to be confirmed later.
