Kuşadası is a beach resort town, with its old town bazaar, Byzantine castle, seafront promenade, restaurants & hotels, nightlife and of course ... beaches!

Ephesus

Ephesus is considered one of the greatest outdoor museums of Turkey, and one of the best preserved ancient cities of the world. Impressive! 25mins away from Kuşadası

Şirince is a cute little mountainside village known for it's wine tasting, fresh products and nice views. 35-40mins drive from Kuşadası

Holidays in Turkey

Istanbul

Before or after the wedding, you might want to visit Istanbul, a truly beautiful city, full of history, delicious food and mind blowing views! We recommend spending at least 2-3 full days in Istanbul.

Çeşme

The Çeşme peninsula is a great option if you want to extend your stay for some beach holidays close by.

It is 1 hour drive away from Izmir airport and 2 hours drive to Kuşadası.

Nice beaches south of Çeşme (town) and in Illica. We like to stay in Alaçatı which smaller, cozier version of Çeşme, with cute boutique hotels and charming town centre with delicious restaurants. Also great spot for Kitesurf! ;)

Bodrum

Just over 3 hours away from Izmir airport and 2h20 drive from Kuşadası, Bodrum peninsula is another excellent option for extending your holidays to enjoy really nice beaches, great food and  really nice hotels. Of course there is also the crowded nightlife of Bodrum (town), but we really love the more charming (and local) seaside villages around the peninsula (Gümüşlük, Yalıkavak, Türkbükü ...)

Pamukkale

Geological cascade of white travertine terraces and warm turquoise natural pools make of Pamukkale (literally "Cotton Castle") a magical site. It is also the site of the remarkably well-preserved ruins of the Greek-Roman city of Hierapolis. 2h45 drive from Kuşadası

Cappadocia

If you wish to travel and see a bit more of the country, Cappadocia is a must see! Incredible landscape in the Anatolian plains, shaped by erosion and carved by ancient civilisations ... check it out!
