Cancun Airport offers a few transportation options - these can be scheduled in advance. The two best options we would recommend are the Hotel Shared Shuttles or Airport Taxis.

Hotel Shared Shuttles
The most popular option for Cancun Airport Transportation
These are economical and OFFICIAL SHARED SHUTTLES available from Cancun Airport to all major hotels in Cancun, Playa del Carmen, Tulum and the Riviera Maya. A SHARED SHUTTLE is the most economical form of transportation to hotels. SHARED SHUTTLES are available all day and you need to reserve your SHARED SHUTTLE in advance. The price is per person so SHARED SHUTTLES is best for solo travelers and couples if you don’t mind sharing and making stops on the way.

Airport Taxis
This is the cheapest “private” option available from the Cancun Airport.
“Regular Taxis” ARE NOT able to pick up passengers at the Cancun Airport. However, a Taxi-like service is available for passengers going to any location in Cancun, Riviera Maya, Playa del Carmen, and Tulum. The TAXI service is available 24 hours and rates are calculated according to the distance to your destination. This is the cheapest “private” option available from the Cancun Airport.
