Let's Plan Your Trip!
Welcome to the Town of Celebration, Florida
Celebration has been named one of America's 10 prettiest towns. Originally designed by The Disney Brothers and fashioned after small town America, it is connected to World Disney World via World Drive
With our Disney connection (we met working together at Disney) and Florida's warm sunny weather this is the perfect place for us to "tie the knot!" We are so happy you will be there to share it with us
Celebration is located 20 miles from Orlando International Airport (MCO), all major rental car companies are located at the airport. Uber and Lyft also offer an inexpensive transportation option. All wedding weekend events are walkable or will have a shuttlebus available
Dave's Celebration Transportation is a reliable car service you can schedule in advance of your arrival and he will pick you up at airport for $45 ( + a tip) You can text him at 407-873-1341 (he is very accommodating if flight times change)
In the town of Celebration
Bike rental is available daily in the parking area adjacent to the hotel, $20 for 2 hrs or $30 for the day. You can bike the town loop and explore natural areas while riding on boardwalk trails. We are working on setting up a group self guided tour for Saturday morning. Details to follow.
Restaurants and shops are a short walk from the hotel. Some of our favorite places to eat are Columbia Restaurant (try the Pollo Manchego and a glass - or pitcher - of red sangria), a glass of wine and a wrap from Imperium Food & Wine, ice cream from Kilwins and Starbucks (where you will probably find the groom drinking a latte)
Celebration Golf Club open 7 days a week, call or book a tee time online (see Wedding Events for groom's golf outing information).
Farmers Market is in the Town Center every Sunday 10am-2pm with local craft vendors and farm fresh produce
Disney World
Disney theme parks require an admission ticket and reservation. They are all a short drive or Uber/Lyft ride from the hotel
Magic Kingdom is celebrating it's 50th anniversary and decorated for the holidays
Epcot will be hosting the International Food and Wine Festival, where you can eat and drink around the world (one of our all time favorite activities)
Hollywood Studios has two must sees - Star Wars Galaxy's Edge and Toy Story Land (the bride was on the design team)
Animal Kingdom is the home to Avatar Flight of Passage which is not to be missed
VIP Tours are available for $$$$ to customize your Disney fun for up to 10 people in your party 407-560-4033
Disney Springs is a dining and shopping venue that does not require admission. Some of our favorites are Polite Pig (try the 5 Points IPA - the groom's favorite beer), Boathouse, Wine Bar George, Enzo's Hideaway and the rooftop of Paddlefish. Reservations (via OpenTable) are recommended for most of the sit down restaurants at Springs
