This is not a story of love at first sight, but it is definitely a story of ‘happily ever after’.
Stuart and Megan met in 2014, when they were both studying at University of Pretoria. As part of a group of friends, they spent time together when they weren’t studying for their respective stressful degrees, allowing their friendship to grow over the next few years. They both slowly started to realise that there was something more than just friendship at play, and maybe a bit of chemistry at work. On 3 January 2017, Stuart took Megan for a day trip to Tala Game Reserve and asked her to be his girlfriend.
Since then, Stuart and Megan have qualified in their respective degrees, survived articles and started their professional lives. They moved in together in Johannesburg in 2018, and adopted their precious cat, Lily.
Fast forward to June 2021 and a trip to Kapama Game Reserve where Stuart asked Megan to marry him. Having moved to London (with Lily!) at the end of 2021, Stuart and Megan are now excitedly planning for their wedding and their future together.
Stuart and Megan have a relationship where support, consistency and loyalty are the most important to them. They love nothing more than Lily, visiting the bush, sharing a packet of peanut M&Ms, and you - their family and friends who they cannot wait to share the most important day of their life with.
