Our Story
Joe was born and raised in Riverton, Utah. Being one of eleven children, he grew up in a very competitive family. Joe spent his childhood and teen years playing club baseball. After graduation, Joe played baseball at Salt Lake Community College. In 2016, Joe was drafted by the Texas Rangers.
Megan was born in Detroit, Michigan, into a baseball family. Being a triplet, she was raised with her brother and sister in Scottsdale, Arizona. Megan spent her childhood dancing competitively and traveling to many ballparks watching he Dad play. In 2017, after graduation, Megan moved to Los Angeles, CA to pursue a degree in Fashion.
Brought Together By Baseball
Although Megan and Joe were following their individual dreams, God used their Social Media network of baseball friends to bring them together. In 2016, while Joe was playing in the Arizona Fall League, he asked Megan out for their first date. She made a trip to Arizona. They went to Baskin Robbins, then walked around Old Town, Scottsdale. They knew they had something special and that was the beginning of their Love Story!
The Proposal
On December 15, 2021, Joe asked Megan to be his Wife. He proposed in Scottsdale, Arizona in their backyard. After she said YES, they were eager to start the wedding planning after the Holidays. Both Joe and Megan, refused to wait a full year to say "I DO!"
