Before the Two Met...

The road to their union has been a divine experience for the two of them and they are excited to be tying the knot! Here is a glimpse into how their paths crossed and will soon become one:

He was a guy from the Midwest, and she was a Florida girl. They were meant to be, but they did not know it yet. Frederick always had dreams of leaving the snowy frigid winters of Wisconsin and enjoying a cool breeze on a beach somewhere. As the desire for a change in scenery continued to get stronger, he decided it was time to start exploring some of the areas that could potentially become his great escape from the Midwest to the South. Megan had a small desire to experience the winters with a bit of snow. Her desire was fulfilled during college and she quickly realized that she enjoyed the warm weather more than she realized. Following college, Megan returned home to Pensacola, FL where life would continue as normal.

When He Saw Her...

In March 2016, Frederick took his first trip to explore with intentions to relocate. He traveled to Pensacola, FL for a spring break vacation. Being from a small town in Wisconsin, Frederick quickly fell in love with everything the area had to offer. He explored the beach, downtown, shopping malls, and various restaurants. However, Frederick knew that his trip would not be complete without visiting a church. Frederick went to church and participated per usual, but that is when he saw HER, Megan T. Crenshaw.

She stood around 5’6'', had long black hair, and a dazzling smile that could brighten anyone’s day on their worst day. As she engaged in the service, he stared and observed. Amazed at her beauty, he knew that he had to make his way to speak to her. As he began to make his way over to her after church, he was met with many different members as they kindly introduced themselves and thanked him for choosing to worship with them. He kept his eyes on her the entire time, but at some point he lost her. It was too late. She was gone. He went back to his car with his head down in defeat. He was disappointed. He was not sure when or if he would get another opportunity to meet her. To his surprise, it would be sooner than he realized.

The Lovebirds Meet...

In June 2016, Frederick attended a church conference that was held in Nashville, TN. He walked into the sanctuary filled with hundreds of people. He began to observe his surroundings and searched for his mother in the crowd of people. Frederick was shocked to find his mother sitting next to HER. The same beauty from Pensacola, FL!

At the event, Frederick was blessed with the opportunity to meet her. Frederick and Megan conversed with smiles across their faces. They exchanged contact information and decided it would be a good idea to keep in contact. They went to dinner and enjoyed each other’s company. Following dinner, Frederick was shocked, smitten, and starry-eyed. He uttered the words “I think I just had dinner with my future wife” to the family members back at the hotel. After they met, the two of them talked on the phone and text messaged all day and every day for several months.

Engagement!

On April 2, 2017, Frederick flew to Florida where the next major step in their relationship would take place. He asked Megan to be his girlfriend. He was ecstatic when she agreed. Their love for one another continued to deepen as time went on. Many trips and flights later, Frederick began preparing to make the big move from Wisconsin to Florida. On May 31, 2019, the dream became reality and Frederick moved to Florida.

The time he had spent with her confirmed his feelings after dinner in 2016. He knew that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her. Frederick grew nervous as he knew a huge question needed to be asked. He needed to propose. Upon receiving the blessing from her father, Frederick began making preparation to pop the big question.

On June 6, 2020, he decided that it was time. It started out like any other day, but it was far from the norm. As the time to get on one knee drew closer, he started getting nervous. His heart began to beat fast. His palms got sweaty. He started stammering over his words. After finally getting the words out, Megan said “Yes!” and they spent the day basking in their love.

The fairytale and romance will not end there. On April 2, 2021, Frederick and Megan will tie the knot and with the help of God, they will live happily ever after.
