Nakeitha's Version...
So the Journey of Love began. The story went a little something like this! In the year of our Lord 2015, in a time not long ago, their was a damsel by the name of Nakeitha Williams who was not in distress let me add lol. She needed no prince to save her but as destiny would have it she crossed paths with this handsome Man of GOD. Now in her opinion that beats a Prince anyday lol, anyhow...She meets him, and would soon find out just how special he was and how fortune she was for their paths to have met. But let's pause here and rewind a bit! It all began in a Region known as " Facebook". This is where we first addressed one another. We didn't meet on Facebook but our first acknowledging of one another's presence took place here. Here's how it went down lol. Their was this movie by the name of " Hunger Games" the third one I believe, I had went and saw it with some of my family. I thought it was very good and exciting so as I typical do at times... I went on facebook and shared of how much I enjoyed this movie and how it was a must see! & Low and beeehooold I scrolled down my timeline and I noticed that he had went and saw the sameee movie I had just seen! He too was sharing his thoughts about it. Now! Side info... He and I are both movie lovers and so immediately that caught my attention! I saw that others were commenting on his post so I saw no harm in joining the conversation ...I mean I was excited about the movie and all it had alot of turns and surprises in it lol. So I commented on his post and asked him " What was your favorite part of the movie"? I had a particular part in mind so I was wondering if he would mention it! NOOOO....He doesn't, he responds but his response was a bit alerting especially to other fellow movie lovers and attenders. He said that his favorite part was the surprise and the ending....except he didn't type that he told it lol MAJOR SPOILER ALERT lol!!! So I politely went to his inbox to let him know...I called myself saveing face for him, since I had asked the question I felt it only right to do it privately :). I said " You know you just ruined the surprise and slightly the ending lolololol but it was funny"? He says" Lol hahahaha let me go delete it hahahaha" so he did...We continued to talk after that...very easy light conversing....found out some cool things about one another and GOD saw fit to bring us this far!!! The rest is History :)
Jeffrey's Version:Oooooh No! One thing about it!!!! Let me tell y'all the truth...Listen. As we began to talk we came across alot, like for instance she and I went to the same school and even sat next to each other for reading time in the library of the Joyce Bullock Elementary School. We had to be in the first or second grade! Yes, that's crazy...we were so shocked the day we talked about that. It was so GOD, but let me give y'all the "TTTTT." Fast forward to one of her sister-friend's wedding, which we were both participants in. I didn't know her at the time but as we stated before we had moments where our paths had crossed, we would be in the same places at the same time but never meeting...It's still crazy to think about sometimes. But let us get to the meat of this thing lol, let's talk about how everyone at this wedding is dancing and she's sitting down. If you know me I likes to get down on the dance floor! Yes! It's true I can't dance but I have a signature move called the stanky leg...and ya boy killed it lol. Like I was doing my thing OK..Ok, Just thought I would throw that in there. Anyways, I see her sitting down alone...and with me being the type that I am...I like for everyone to have fun! I'm a people's person so it bothered me that she was sitting down while everyone else was enjoying themselves. So I wasn't going over to try to talk to her...I just wanted to make sure she was good. Tell me why I get to her and ask " Hey, are you good? Why you not dancing"? and y'all when I tell you I never got the hand to the face like she did me. Omg...ok so maybe she didn't give me a literal hand to the face...but the look she gave me...matter as well been one lol. Y'all I was appalled lol (that's my favorite word too y'all) & still to this day she says she doesn't remember that. Whatever, well I do...So after that night I went looking for her on Facebook because I needed to know who she was...especially to have done me like that. I found her and followed her on the site, and the way she wrote about GOD as well as how she carried herself. Y'all im not gon lie I was locked in! I was on a fast with GOD I couldn't talk or pursue a woman for a year and a half. But I told myself when this fast is over GOD i'm going to get her...and here we are now!!! Y'all I got her!!! P.s She low-key got in my inbox while I was still on that fast talking bout a movie chi plz...y'all she was trying to shoot her shot!!!
- Nakeitha prayed as a little girl that her husband would have the same last name as hers, because she heard the story of her grandparents who also shared the same experience with having the same last names! She wanted that for her life as well so she continued to pray that prayer, she thought no other name sound right with hers except for her own. GOD answered her prayer! You have to hear her husband-to-be testimony to see how it came to be!
~Jeff and Nakeitha were brought up for a time in the same small town Williston, FL never knowing each other! They both moved away to the same region (Tampa & Clearwater FL) and in their adult age the Lord allowed their paths to meet! They knew it was no coincidence but the workings of GOD's plan for their lives! Now they're here ready to see his plans unfold more as they embark on this journey of love and Holy Matrimony!
