Travel to Israel

The airport is Ben Gurion Airport. US citizens do not need a visa. You can check the latest covid entry requirements here 

Taxi Service

There are no Uber/Lifts. Instead, the local taxi company is working with Gett app. You can order a cab using the app, including to/from the airport. Please do not pay more than the app suggests and do not pay cash. It is common to tip are around the 10%. 

Commute with a scooter

Inside Tel Aviv the most common way is with electric scooters. Use Bird or Lime.

A few important details:

1. You will get a ticket if you don't wear a helmet. Most scooters have a helmet in them.

2. Do not ride on the sidewalks. You will also get a ticket. There are plenty of bike paths. If must, ride on the roads.
