Flights

KAHULUI AIRPORT (OGG)

This is the main airport to fly into on Maui. It's about a 30 min. drive to the west side of the Island (where most will be staying) so we recommend renting a car - it will save you an expensive taxi ride and also allow you to explore the amazing island while you're here!

Pro Tip: Southwest is now flying to Maui from most CA cities - this will be a very affordable option to check into for your travel.

Things to Do

Kaanapali Beach

Kaanapali Beach offers miles of white sand, and the rocky beach towards the north end is one of Maui's top snorkeling spots. Visibility allows snorkelers to see the ocean floor, lava rock ledge, and plenty of different fish species.

Haleakala National Park

Sunrises and sunsets are only two of the many reasons to visit Haleakala National Park. Spanning more than 30,000 acres of public land, the stunning landscapes range from Mars-like red deserts and rock gardens near the summit to lush waterfalls and streams in the park’s coastal Kipahulu section, near Hana.

Whalers Village Shopping

Whalers Village is the place to shop in Kaanapali. Whether you are in the market for fashion, food, or home décor, the shops at Whalers Village provide anything you might need and more.

Hawaiian Luau

If it's your first time visiting Hawaii, attending a luau is a must! Sip on a cocktail and enjoy an evening full of traditional Polynesian cooking, music, dance, and culture.

Road to Hana

The Road to Hana takes you away from the busy resorts to one of the most secluded towns in America. The 52-mile journey passes through some of the most beautiful coastal views, bamboo forests, and waterfalls with plenty of stops to sample the local cuisine. Make sure to take your motion sickness medication as you’ll be in for a ride of 620 curves and 59 bridges.

Transportation

With car rental prices on the rise, another option to consider is Turo which is a marketplace for renting cars from locals in Maui.
