• Only have 1 person from your party make a room reservation
• We recommend groups of 2 reserve rooms for optimal comfort but some rooms can accommodate 3 guests.
• Transportation is NOT included with the hotel from the Cancun airport.
• Failure to remit final payments on or before the final payment date will automatically put your booking at risk of cancellation and will result in a $50 late fee. Bookings not paid within 7 days of the final payment date will automatically cancel and all payments will be forfeited. Please contact us immediately, and in advance of your payment due date, if you will be unable to meet this obligation. Without limitation, Passenger(s) voluntarily holds VBT harmless for cancellation of any booking for either late payment or declination of a credit card. Payments are accepted through our online payment system, or Venmo when available. Payments are never automatic unless pre-authorized through our system. We cannot take phone payments, checks, bank transfers or any other method of payment.

To be considered part of the wedding group, you must book through the group rates and not through any other method (even directly with the hotel).

We have negotiated competitive group rates and secured a room block to make this as easy as possible for our bride and groom.

Additional fees will apply to visit the resort or come to wedding related events should you book off property.

The pre-negotiated rates include hotel accommodations, hotel tax and fees, housekeeping and bellman gratuities.

Room categories are available on a first come, first serve basis within the block.

• IMPORTANT: To book at these rates you are REQUIRED to stay a minimum of 3 nights.

• Rates are available 3 days pre/post the room block dates of 11/17-11/24. (based on availability

• Any changes must be done in writing and changes requested after the balance due date must be paid for in full upfront even before they are confirmed.

• Changes made within 14 days of travel will incur a $25 fee.

• Last minute bookings within 21 days of travel will incur a $150 fee.

A non-refundable* deposit of $200 per room is due to secure your room. If you aren't sure of your occupancy, it's fine. Placing the deposit secures the room and we have flexibility to add or remove travelers up until 45 days prior to travel. The deposit and ONLY the deposit will incur a small non refundable processing fee of $6.28.

To be clear, this will not change your first transaction amount. Everyone's first transaction will be $206.28 and based on your selection, we will either leave the $200 or apply subsequent amounts to your booking.

Refunds

You are responsible to file a claim to receive your refund with the insurance company. We will provide documentation if needed.

Vagablonde Travel offer optional travel protection with Travel Insured International.

Rates will vary per person depending on your age, state, total value of your trip, and if you elect for the Cancel for Any Reason benefit.

The average cost of your travel protection is about 6-10% of the total trip cost so it's a great investment!

You must add insurance within 21 days of booking if you want the Cancel For Any Reason Policy. Otherwise, the "Cancel For Any Reason" benefit will not apply and the only benefits will be for in-travel issues or covered reason. Please note that once purchased, travel insurance is non refundable.
Our office will automatically send you a quote after you book (if you select this option) with your room total and an estimated ground transfer. If our office books your air, we will include this in your quote. If you are not ready to purchase air, no problem. If after purchasing your policy, you buy your air, reach out to us and we will make the adjustment on your policy or send you directions to do so.

Closest airport to the resort is CANCUN International Airport (CUN).

We recommend booking your flights as early as you can.
You may book it via your favorite airline or allow us to do so for a small fee of $39.

Consider using miles or credit card points if you have them. If you would like to book your flight + hotel as a package this can be arranged as well. In the reservation form mark "YES" to the flight question and you will be contacted to verify airline and connection preferences for published rates.

However, there is no guarantee that we have better flight prices than what you may find on your own and we cannot guarantee we are contracted with every airline. There may be instances when we cannot book your air if we do not have a contract with a specific airline, such as Spirit Airlines. We are also not able to use credit card points or miles towards your flight.

• After booking, you will receive an immediate receipt showing your $206.28 payment with VAGABLONDE, INC. If you do not receive this, your payment and booking did NOT go through.

• Once your booking is processed internally, my team will send you a receipt showing your room category, dates, remaining balance, and how to make additional payments.

• 2 weeks prior to your final payment, my team will send you a reminder in case you need to update your file with a new card.

• As we get closer to travel my team will send you a reminder email requesting your flight information if we do not already have it. This information will be used to coordinate ground transportation as a group. We will work to group wedding guests together on arrival and departure to bring everyone’s ground transportation cost down.

• 2 weeks prior to travel you will receive an email with links to your final travel documents.

WILL I NEED A PASSPORT?
Yes! A passport is needed to fly to and from the U.S. and Mexico. - please take the time now to locate your passport and check the expiration date; make sure it is valid for 6 months after your anticipated return date. I FOUND A CHEAPER PRICE ONLINE, CAN YOU MATCH IT?
We are confident in our pricing but if you were to find a cheaper “deal” outside of Vagablonde Travel please allow us an opportunity to price match. We would like to do our best to keep family and friends consolidated in the block at the resort for accountability and organization for the staff. To expedite the process, please take a dated screen shot of what you found. It must include the final total price (with all taxes and fees), what the price includes (dates and room category), the website you found it on.

DO I NEED A COVID TEST?
At this time, no testing is required to enter Mexico however the CDC announced on January 26th that a negative test is required to re enter the US. Secrets Akumal will provide complimentary testing at the resort. Should you test positive, the resort will also offer a complimentary stay for up to 2 weeks for you to quarantine.

DOES MY INSURANCE COVER COVID OR THE PANDEMIC?
COVID is considered a sickness and will be categorized as such. For further questions regarding the insurance policies we suggest you call the company direct after you receive your quote. They are specialist and we just offer their product.
