Where it all started ...
We met at a happy hour event at a bar during Mehrshad's first semester of dental school. He glanced across and Marjan was laughing with her friends who were all pretty drunk while looking at him and making funny jokes with each other. Then, Mehrshad decided to talk to Marjan and invite her to join him for a drink sometime. From there we got to know each other a bit more every time we hung out.
Mehrshad remember falling in love with Marjan when she rented a huge truck just to come and help him move out to his new home during his second year of dental school.

Tuscany is a special place for us that we visited together. We fell in love with the chianti hills, the tuscan sunset, the delicious wine, the cobblestone houses, and the friendly locals who all left us with wonderful memories.
We chose italy as the destination for our wedding because this is where Mehrshad proposed to Marjan. On may 2nd 2019, he proposed to her in front of the San Miiniato al Monte Basilica during sunset. We also love and appreciate the culture and the food in Italy so much that it makes us feel at home.
We couldn't think of a better destination to get married in!
A special place
We are getting married at Castello di Montalto, an original tuscan castle nestled in the green hills around Siena.
We immediately fell in love with the historical charm of this venue: the little church, the piazza and the towers.
