Frequently Asked Questions
Q. Do we need to stay in the hotel listed above?
A. No! You are more than welcome to stay in another hotel in the area that better suits your needs. We are providing a hotel room block to try securing rates and have the option to stay nearby friends or family if you choose.
Q. Do I need to arrive a day early? Why can't I fly in on the day we sail?
A. It is recommended to fly in at least 1 day prior to sailing to ensure you do not miss your cruise. Airline delays or cancellations do happen and we would hate for your delayed flight to cause you to miss the cruise departure.
Q. Do we need to pay gratuities on board?
A. You can choose to prepay your gratuities before boarding the ship. If you choose to do this, please contact our travel agent and she will adjust your final bill. If you do not prepay your gratuities, then a fee of $18.50 per person, per day will be added to your room charges.
Q. Do we need a passport?
A. No! You do not need a passport to travel on a cruise that leaves out of the USA and returns back to the same port at the end of the trip. You can sail with your driver's license and original (sealed) birth certificate, if you choose. However, it is always recommended to travel with a passport in case of any unforeseen emergencies while on the trip that may require you to find alternatives ways home.
