Ceremony

Nooitgedacht Estate is an outdoor venue with large lawns surrounded by orchards, vineyards and mountains.

Wedding ceremony begins at 4pm and will be followed by drinks, dinner and dancing at the same venue.

Dress Code

Stellenbosch is situated in a valley and summer months are dry and warm.

We try to keep our guests out of direct sunlight and would prepare shade and parasols. We highly recommend sunglasses and sunscreen for extra protection.

We recommend a light cover-up for the light breeze in the evening after sunset.

Childcare

We would arrange childcare services for children aged 1 to 13 from dinner until end of the evening.

Venue

Nooitgedacht Estate is a family owned Cape Dutch wine estate in Stellenbosch that dates back to 1774.

Nooitgedacht Estate is located 30km from Cape Town International Airport.

Transportation

We would arrange a shuttle bus from the wedding venue to Stellenbosch surrounding hotels & Cape Town city center.

Cape Town

Colorful houses in Bo-Kaap, shopping on the V&A waterfront, laziness at Clifton beach, Nelson Mandela’s prison on Robben Island, contemporary art at Zeitz MOCAA, sharks at the Two Oceans Aquarium...

Table Mountain

A short hike from the city, or a gondola trip to the table shaped mountain to have a view of Cape Town from above. Beware of the clouds that are usually crowning the mountain!

Table Mountain is best seen from far away. You can try the breathtaking view of the mountain from Bloubergstrand beach.

Boulder Beach

Have you ever swum with penguins? Go to this beautiful sandy and rocky beach with a penguins colony nearby.

Winelands

Stellenbosch, Franschhoek, Constantia, Paarl... just a few minutes away from Cape Town to taste one of the best wines in the world.

Chapman’s Peak Drive

From Hout Bay to Noordhoek Beach, the most scenic drive in the world. Try to keep your eyes on the road!

Cape of Good Hope

The drive from Cape Town is already worth in itself. The wildlife reserve of Cape Point is amazing with its cliffs, rocks and dry vegetation. Watch out for baboons!
