All passport holders (except for Indian passport holders) are required to have a valid visa in order to enter India. You can apply for the e-visa here: indianvisaonline.gov.in/visa/index.html . We recommend applying for your visa once you book your flight. Ideally, this is 4 months in advance (by January 2022).
In order to arrive in Udaipur on time, please make plans to land in New Delhi by 10am on Wednesday, April 27th.
Please keep in mind that you will lose a day traveling from the US, so we recommend departing on Monday, April 25th.
We plan to connect in Delhi to Udaipur on Air India flight 471 departing at 1:20pm on Wednesday, April 27th.
Currently, there are two flight options available for booking. We are expecting more airlines like Indigo & Spicejet to start booking before January'2022

Udaipur (also known as city of lakes and Venice of the east), the beautiful capital of Mewar, Rajasthan, is a royal tourist destination for travellers who love history, culture and architecture. It is quite a renowned destination owing to its massive palaces, ancient forts, beautiful lakes, lush green gardens, age-old temples, romantic backdrops and so much more.
HOW TO REACH UDAIPUR
Udaipur Airport (Maharana Pratap Airport – international code UDR) is located 22km from the city. Many domestic airlines connect Udaipur to all the major cities of India including Mumbai, Delhi and Ahmedabad. It is almost equidistant from Mumbai and Delhi so either airport would work for international travellers.
GETTING AROUND UDAIPUR
Cab services like Ola and Uber are actively operational in Udaipur. You may also avail the transportation services offered by the hotel concierge.

Most travellers require vaccinations when travelling to India. Check online or visit your doctor at least 6 to 8 weeks before departure to make sure you are up to date with any vaccinations. Recommended vaccinations for travel to India are Hepatitis A, Tetanus and Typhoid. In addition, consult your doctor/pharmacist to obtain a prescription for medication to prevent malaria. Finally, do yourself a favour and pack some Oral Rehydration Solution such as Dioralyte or your own personal favorite anti-diarrhea drug for the accidental Delhi belly!
