Maid of Honor

I met Manny back in 2012 during my undergrad at Rutgers. The first time I met Manny with clicked instantly due to our common career path! Over the years Manny has not only became my mentor but my big brother! I’ll never forget the day he first told me about Naa. In 2016 when he returned from his trip from Ghana he came in our group chat like y’all I need another job because I’m getting married . The following year I got to meet Lucy who turned out to be a sweet, funny, intelligent young lady! These past two years I’ve gotten the chance to get to know Lucy better and now she’s like a big sister to me! I’m so happy Manny and Lucy found each other and I can’t wait to celebrate their special day with them

Abby O.
Maid of Honor

Hey everyone! My name is Abby Ofori. I had the pleasure of meeting Manny first through my Godsister Lois. They went to their Alma mater Rutgers University together and based on their great friendship , I also gained a friend. A couple of years ago, Manny texted me that his girlfriend will be in my neighborhood , going to grad school at the University of Connecticut. So he gave me her phone number and I texted her right away. After a few months due to our busy schedules, we finally had the chance to meet and drove to New Jersey together for a board meeting we both work on (World Class Women). Lucy is such a sweet person and we had such great conversations that we got lost on the highway like 5 times lol. I’m honored to be beside her on her big day and I pray Manny and her will have a great future together full of love, laughter and bliss unconditionally.

Cindy

My name is Cindy and I am one of Kwaku’s best friends. We met in 2008 through a mutual friend and have been close ever since. From MySpace days, vacations, parties, graduations to proposals, we’ve shared many memories and laughs over the years. I’m very happy he’s brought Lucy into our circle of friends because she’s such a sweet, fun, and smart woman! I’m glad I’ve gotten the chance to know her. In all the years I have known Kwaku, the happiness I see when he is with Lucy is something I have never seen him be with anyone else. I am so happy for him and Lucy because they are literally perfect together. When I see them together and how in sync they are, I always say Kwaku has really found his match. Kwaku and Lucy are a beautiful couple inside and out and I am so glad to be a part of their special day!

Elisabeth

Lucy and I were flatmates during my exchange semester in Connecticut. At first, I was not sure that she was happy to have a new flatmate, but I decided to be brave and asked her to join me for a trip to the mall. This was the start of our friendship. I could not have wished for a better, wiser, or funnier flatmate, and I am very happy she found her partner in Manny!

The way Manny first spoke to me about Lucy was beautiful. I was so excited to meet this special girl and to witness their love blossom. In the summer of 2017 when I met Lucy, I could immediately see why Manny had fallen in love with her. Over the past couple of years, I’ve been blessed to share special moments with them and to see their relationship grow. I pray that they always keep God first in their union. Our God is a faithful God and I know that He will continue to shower them with love and many more blessings. Congratulations Mr. & Mrs. Kyei! Can’t wait to celebrate!

Best Man

It seems like forever ago when I first met Kwaku Kyei; you’ve transpired not to become just a friend but a brother as well. I’m more than honored to be entrusted with this role as your best man in this pivotal moment of your life. Congratulations to you and Naa.

Kwabena

Kwaku has been the homie for almost my whole life, growing up in the same neighborhood and going to the same church together. We always used to laugh and joke together and I’m glad our friendship has continued all these years. He’s always been a leader, passionate  about all he puts his mind too, and very loyal - all the attributes of a great husband. I’m happy that he’s found his one and that he’s asked me to be a part of his day. Wishing him & Lucy a wonderful marriage, with lots of kids!!

They usually say let love lead, but the reality is love only begins when you’ve found your best friend. I have never met two best friends that are perfectly meant for each other. Congratulations Qwaku and Naa!!!

Louie

Met Manny at house party, a few dance circles and hyped jumping around later..we became well acquainted. The friendship grew stronger over the years, many partying, social engagements and azonto battles and all but what took the friendship to another level was when we took a trip to Miami with a group of friends. I won’t get into details as to the events that took place but let’s just say it was one for the books. After that trip Manny became more than just a friend..he became a brother to me. We’ve shared many great moments along the years, even getting to witness the engagement to the lovely bride. And I’m glad Manny found Naa because the love they have for each other is truly beautiful and genuine. I pray for the marriage to blossom into greater heights and blessings pour over them. I’m happy to be a part of the ceremony...here’s to many babies! *Raises glass*

I’ve known Kwaku for 20 years and since then he’s been a great friend and brother-like figure to me. I’m happy that he has found the woman of his dreams and that i am a part of his celebration of love. May God bless him and Lucy with everlasting love

John

I’ve known Kwaku forever. We met 20 years ago when he first arrived in America. We were the original Jersey boys. Me, him and Kwabena. Eventually I had moved away but we reconnected after a few years and the rest is history. Despite the distance, we have been and will always continue to be family. It has been such a pleasure watching my fellow brother grow up and achieve what he has so far in life. An equally amazing and intelligent wife who has brought out a side of him that literally makes him glow. And lastly, Kwaku has just developed from the mischievous little boy I used to play with in Newark into this man who may very well be a superhero. I am continuously inspired by him and I am thankful for his presence not only in my life, but on this planet. It is my hope that I can continue to be there for him to celebrate not only his current achievements, but his future ones that are inevitably on the way.
