Prashanthi and Liv met when they were 5 years old on the first day of school. They were often separated for talking too much during class. Growing up they loved making elaborate forts in their bedrooms, baking and spontaneous sleepovers. One of Liv's favourite memories of Prashanthi is when she convinced the two of them to get blow up sumo wrestling suits and jump around in them. Prashanthi is a lifelong friend and despite the distance between the two, whenever they're together it's as though no time has passed.
Rosh and Liv met in school but bonded over their dislike of their violin teacher. Growing up they played in orchestra together and shared a genuine fear of their conductor but the day they got reassigned to sit together in the first violin section was a proud nerd moment. Since then Rosh and Liv have travelled to Oxford together for university, joined the same firm in Sydney and moved away from Australia. Rosh is a genuinely kind, beautiful and thoughtful lifelong friend.
Katie and Liv met in college and have lived together for almost a decade. During college they spent almost everyday together and after hanging out they would often dial each other's room phones and continue talking. Katie and Liv loved throwing themed parties over the years and they share a love for eating too much food, laughing so much they start crying and binging tv shows. Liv has made many memorable moments with Katie but the ones that standout are their inability to kayak together, their telepathy when playing the card game 500 and all the nights at the ranch.
Ashley and Liv are cousins and share a deep love of eating hawker style food whenever they are on holiday together in Malaysia. They have shared so many memories but Liv's favourite is when they were in the backseat of a car lip syncing to No Air and Ashley's interpretive dance moves had the two of them dying of laughter.
Andrew is Alex's younger brother and Best Man. The two have been best friends since the day Andrew came home from the hospital and Alex said he looked like E.T. (he has since outgrown the resemblance). Though they have managed to make travel hard for their parents and repeatedly live in opposite parts of the US/World, Andrew and Alex remain extremely close.
Jeff and Alex met at USC, pledging the same fraternity and later living together over the course of college. Jeff and his wife Erin blazed the trail to Australia, where Alex would later move and meet Liv. Jeff and Alex's friendship has only grown stronger as they moved from the USC bubble into the real world, most recently bonding over many shared grilling and board game nights in Australia.
Alex and Ryan met at USC, initially as members of the same fraternity pledge class and later living together over the course of college. Among many shared interests, Ryan and Alex bonded over a shared love of old country music, frequently getting in trouble for hijacking sound systems at USC parties to insert classics from Merle Haggard and Waylon Jennings.
Alex and Alex met at USC, initially living a few doors down from each other in the Freshman dorms before pledging the same fraternity. While their friendship was initially founded on shared Southern heritage (a rarity at USC) and top-tier Mario Kart skills (the groom's being superior), the two Alex's have continued to grow closer over years of unforgettable trips (New Orleans in particular stands out) and shared USC football heartbreak.
