Isabella Stewart Gardner Museum

When Isabella Stewart Gardner created her museum she wanted it to be “for the education and enjoyment of the public forever.” It’s important to know that Isabella designed it as an immersive environment. The result is a highly singular collection that includes not just art but also flowers and plants, textiles, furniture, and architecture. As Isabella said, “it’s my pleasure,” but it is likely to be yours as well.

The Gardner is a unique museum with things to see and do for visitors of all ages. Popular times for family visits include weekends, school vacation weeks, and neighborhood nights, but children and their parents are welcome anytime.

Children receive free Museum admission.

This is Laura & Izzy's favorite Mommy-and-Me spot in Boston year round. We have so many memories exploring this space, investigating the mysteries of the theft and enjoying the café.

Newbury Street

Known for it's shopping experiences, Newbury Street is also one of the favorite places for locals to stroll and admire the architecture, holiday decoration, or grabbing a bite to eat at restaurants which cater to vegans and carnivores alike!

Boston Common Frog Pond

Boston Common was established in 1634 and is the oldest city park in the United States and was declared a U.S. National Historic Landmark in 1987. Frog Pond is now home to a summer spray and splash pool in the summer and is the outdoor winter ice skating place to be in Boston.

Frog Pond is an outdoor rink so the opening date for the ice skating season is determined by the weather. While it is usually open by mid-November, we advise our guests to visit the website to confirm.

This is a free tour of the nation's oldest naval warship, and one of the oldest warships in the world. Please be advised that while there is no fee, you will need to bring identification with you.

Can you tell Dan added this to the list? Can't help but love this, it is certainly a 'Must Sea'! (Punny joke by Laura ;- )

Prudential Tower

Head to the "Top of the Hub" in Boston's Back Bay District between the hours of 10 a.m.and 8 p.m. and catch a 360 degree glimpse of historic Boston from the Skywalk Observatory.

Extra points if you can spot both Dan's hometown and Laura's old home outside of Fenway Park!
