Barga old and new towns are very small and closely located, and you will find a lot of options here on Booking.com and similar sites. There will be a bus running to and from Barga Town on the day of the wedding, and there are a few restaurants and shops and cobbled lanes to explore.
We loved Barga but wouldn't recommend staying for longer than a few days unless you're planning to spend a bit of time walking/hiking or unless you have a pool and are happy to take it very easy - it's a lovely but sleepy little town.

This is a lovely hotel and spa further up the hill from I Cedri. You can walk to Barga in 1.5 hours, take the hotels shuttle bus (only runs a few times a day, they charge 5 euros per journey) or you can take a taxi into town for 15 euros. We will be arranging a bus to and from this hotel on the day of the wedding.

A B&B in Barga (Old) town itself, recommended by I Cedri.
5 minutes walk to transport to and from I Cedri
La Terrazza is a B&B further up the same hill as I Cedri - a 17 minute walk (or 3 minute drive) from I Cedri, and a 1 hour walk to Barga town. Albiano is a very small village - which has a pay to enter outdoor pool, and the hotel restaurant as the only other attractions to this area. We walked through it and expect the B&B/ hotel would be very quiet/ relaxing, with a lovely view.
This would a very cheap taxi to and from I Cedri itself (unless we can work out a way to drop off in Albiano en route to Barga).

Might be a good base if you're planning on doing some walking/ hiking?

Another remote option - a twenty minute walk from I Cedri (or a 5 minute taxi). Another good base if you're planning to do a bit of walking - but is in a remote/ beautiful location.
