Boracay Accomodations
Introduction to Your Stay on Boracay
The island is filled with so many places to stay that you may be overwhelmed. Feel free to do your own research, but below are a couple we can recommend.
It is pretty safe to book through credible third-party sites or Airbnb. The prices vary greatly--anywhere from $70-$500 a night. Don't let the price worry you, since the hotels priced at $100 or less are still pretty damn nice. So take a look for yourself.
Boracay is a very small island and travel is pretty easy. Even if you're "far" you can usually walk outside and hail a tricycle who can take you anywhere on the island for a laughable amount of pesos.

This beautiful hotel is where we are tying the knot. Located in Station 1, the Lind is one of the nicer hotels on the island. We are only planning on staying here the days around the wedding. If you are interested in staying here please let us know. The hotel offered us a discount for a wedding block, but only in the case of a 10 room reservation. We can try to coordinate with other guests to accommodate the rates.
EDIT:
We recently visited the venue and if you don't mind a higher price tag this hotel is definitely worth the money. The property is gorgeous and in a good location. A lot of the similarly reputable and higher end hotels are on different parts of the island, while the Lind boasts a Station 1 beach front so we were able to walk to the property via the beach.
The service is excellent and all of the food we tried was great. They have multiple pools, one of which is an infinity that looks out over the ocean. We were allowed to peak into the rooms while there and they seemed clean and well maintained.

We are going to be brutally honest. Do not stay here. We were pretty disappointed. On paper, the hotel looks great, but there were definitely a lot of issues.
The room itself was spacious and aesthetically pleasing, but not the best maintained. The mattress was overly firm and there was no door to the shower so every time you took one the floor in front of the adjacent toilet got soaked. There were also numerous decorative tables in the room but not a single drawer to store any of our things.
Don't buy into their pool access rooms either. The pools were small and mostly inhabited by children. And any view of the beach you were hoping to get while poolside is blocked by dining guests. And on the other side of that, if you were eating in the outdoor seating area you would occasionally get splashed by kids jumping into the pool.
The food varied from average to unpalatable and despite giving us more than $100 in vouchers for their hotel restaurant, we were looking to eat off property more often than not.
