Flights

Flight Search

For those of you who are traveling from out-of-town, we are so grateful that you are making the trip to Buenos Aires for our wedding celebration.

When booking flights you should plan to fly into any of the two Buenos Aires airports:  Ezeiza (EZE), which is the main international airport and is a bit removed from the city, or Aeroparque-Jorge Newbery (AEP) which is a smaller airport in the city.

If you are planning on flying within Argentina we suggest doing so through AEP or EPA. There are various low-cost airline options (Flybondi & Jet Smart) available that fly in and out of these two airports.

The following flight search engines can help you find good deals: Kayak, SkyScanner, Hopper, Google Flights. Alternatively, you can search directly on your preferred airline's website.

We recommend planning your arrival to Buenos Aires no later than Thursday, November 28, 2019 morning.

Getting Around

Transportation

Once you arrive,  you can either take a taxi into the city (there is a booth at the airport where you can request one) or use Cabify ride sharing.

Uber is available in Argentina, however due to issues they are having with the government,  drivers may ask you to sit in the front with them to avoid drawing unwanted attention.

Currency Information

Credit Cards & Cash

The local currency in Buenos Aires is the Peso.

Most venues accept credit cards, however we recommend that you carry cash with you. When paying with credit cards make sure you have your ID present.

Most Taxis do not accept credit cards.

Exploring Argentina

Places to Go

If you are planning on extending your trip and travelling around Argentina (which we fully recommend), these are a few places that made it into our "must-see" list:

North: Iguazu Falls, Salta, Jujuy

West: Mendoza (wine-country)

South (Patagonia): Bariloche, El Calafate (Perito Moreno Glacier) and Ushuaia

Weather

Packing

November is the last month of Spring in Buenos Aires.

The average temperature is between 64-77 degrees Fahrenheit (18-25 degrees Celsius).

Usually November is not a rainy month, but it is humid, so pack accordingly.
