Meet nature’s best friends at this Punta Cana dolphin park. You will get a personalized introduction to your new aquatic bestie, before diving in for a swim and performing some tricks along the way. Swimming with dolphins is a bucket list favorite, so take this chance to cross it off your list and meet the most majestic creatures the ocean has to offer.

Learn the basics with Punta Cana dolphins

When you come to Punta Cana, you simply have to go see the dolphins. And this excursion lets you do that in style by taking you there in comfortable transport. Your guides will meet you and they’ll coach you on how to play with the dolphins.

These animals are lots of fun and are some of the most intelligent creatures in the ocean. Did you know that each dolphin has a signature whistle? Well, you will learn about this and so much more with the experts who are on hand to get you to grips with these slippery characters.

Time for some tricks!

You’ll spend 60 minutes in the water with the Punta Cana dolphins, and three dolphins per group will be ready to play.

You’ll be ready for the ‘foot push’, where two dolphins will push you at full speed across the sea surface. You’ll also enjoy the dorsal ride and watch as dolphins are jumping, criss-crossing and back-flipping just beside you. It’s totally safe… and totally fun!

Speak dolphin language

You could even try out one of those signature whistles the dolphins use to communicate with themselves — you just might start a conversation with your new sea mammal friends! At the end of your time in the water, dry yourself and wave goodbye to the dolphins as you take round-trip transportation back to your resort.

Experience some of the best snorkelling in the world

Go aboard a modern catamaran after a comfortable ride takes you to the marina from your resort. Then, set sail toward the Punta Cana reefs, which have some of the most beautiful sea life around. Take a deep breath, put on some snorkeling gear and let hundreds of tropical, colorful fish wow you as the sun beats down overhead. For today at least, this is your own little corner of ocean to explore.

So grab that snorkel and dip your head into a magical underwater world. Your friendly crew members are on hand to help you answer any questions you might have about your new fishy friends.

Sail Punta Cana during happy hour

There’s a good reason why it's called Happy Hour! Let that smile spread across your face as you dry off and grab a drink, continuing your cruise of Punta Cana during a great afternoon. Why not warm up with a little Mamajuana, a popular local drink made with a unique mixture of roots and spirits? Or just go for a classic rum and cola? Either way, it's cocktail time at the open bar!

Swim in a natural pool, with dance and drinks

Your Punta Cana Happy Hour cruise will also take you to a secret spot, surrounded by palm trees and natural beauty. It's your own slice of paradise, so sit back and relax or get your hips swinging to tropical merengue and bachata rhythms.

As the fun continues, take a dip inside a natural pool and enjoy delicious cocktails from the floating bar as the music continues to play. You’ll be back to shore by early evening, and round-trip, air-conditioned transportation will be waiting to take you back to your resort.

If you’re going to the Dominican Republic to get closer to nature and explore the jungle, this excursion in the depths and heights of the rainforest is what you’re looking for. You'll have a chance to meet and interact with jungle monkeys, as well as soar through the trees with a number of different zip lines, high in the Punta Cana canopy.

Fly more than a mile on zip lines

Following pick-up from your resort, your adventure begins at one of the area’s best zip line attractions. Your instructor will outfit you in harnesses and helmets and you’ll receive a safety briefing before climbing to the first of 18 platforms offering 12 zip lines. Fly across the sky from one platform to another on these zip lines that range in length and height, including one that’s more than 2,600 feet long! In all, you'll travel more than a mile on zip lines, enjoying the 360-degree jungle views at every turn.

Interact with wild monkeys

Next, make a quick stop at the Coconut House, where you'll see how the locals turn coconuts into coconut oil, as well as sample some of the Dominican Republic’s best coffee. Then, it’s off to Monkey Land, where you'll have a chance to come face to face with wild and friendly primates. This 5-acre nature park is owned by a couple who have spent 35 years in this area getting to know the monkeys and earning their trust so that they’ll come eat from your hands, sit on your shoulders and practically smile during photo ops. While visiting Monkey Land, you'll also be served lunch before heading back to your resort.

Here’s perhaps your best opportunity to go off-limits and feel the adrenaline in Punta Cana, as you take the wheel of your very own off-road buggy across some of the most rugged terrain on the island. There’s no better way to come face-to-face with tropical nature than by racing through the most stunning backdrops on this 3-hour thrill ride on buggies. Trek into the backroads and hit the accelerator for real exhilaration as you head toward an abandoned quarry, a cave full of hidden waters, and the wide-open awesomeness of the Dominican Republic. This adventure also includes a visit to a working plantation for a look at how the locals make cocoa and coffee to round out a very stimulating day.

Then, your adventure continues as you head towards the “Ojos Indigenas Ecological Reserve” - a lush oasis, home to a myriad of bird species and tropical flora.
