TRAVEL
Where should I fly into?
To reach the beautiful region of Puglia, we recommend considering two convenient options:
1. Choosing to book your flight into Bari Airport (BRI) or Lecce Airport (LCC) and renting a car on-site to explore the Valle d'Itria area comfortably. This choice will allow you to enjoy a smooth journey, with the freedom to move at your own pace and preferences.
NOTE: If flying from Toronto you will most likely have a layover in Rome as there are no direct flights to the Puglia region from Toronto.
2. If you prefer a more scenic and adventurous route and are planning to travel before or after the wedding, you can opt to arrive at the airports in Rome and then take the high-speed Italo train to reach the central station of Bari. During the train journey, you can admire the picturesque Italian landscapes and immerse yourself in the unique atmosphere of train travel. Once in Bari, you will have the opportunity to rent a car and start your exploration of Puglia, starting from the lively city of Bari and heading towards the charming towns of the Valle d'Itria, rich in traditions, breathtaking landscapes, and culinary delights to discover.
Whether you choose to fly directly to Bari, Lecce or to pass through Rome and take the train to Bari, we guarantee you an unforgettable journey to discover the wonders of Puglia.
