Things to do

The Liguria region of north-west Italy is one of the most beautiful stretches of coast in Europe, with resorts and towns including San Remo and Portofino and numerous picturesque villages including the stunning villages of the Cinque Terre

Santa Margherita
is a comune in the Metropolitan City of Genoa in the Italian region Liguria, located about 35 kilometres southeast of Genoa, in the Tigullio traditional area
The resort of Santa Margherita Ligure is one of the most attractive and charming in the Riviera di Levante.

Rapallo
Rapallo was originally a traditional harbour town in the Liguria region, and is now the largest and most important seaside resort on the Mediterranean coast in north-west Italy. It is situated on the Gulf of Tigullio to the north-east of the Portofino peninsula

Portofino
is a fishing village on the Italian Riviera coastline, southeast of Genoa city. Pastel-colored houses, high-end boutiques and seafood restaurants fringe its Piazzetta, a small cobbled square overlooking the harbor, which is lined with super-yachts. A path leads from the Piazzetta to Castello Brown, a 16th-century fortress and museum with art exhibitions and panoramic views of the town and the Ligurian Sea.

Cinque Terre
The Cinque Terre is a group of five villages set in scenic splendour on the cliffy coast of Liguria between La Spezia and Levanto. The scenery and the picturesque ancient villages together combine to make this one of the most lovely (and popular!) stretches of coast in Italy.
Together the five villages and the surrounding landscape are a protected UNESCO World Heritage Site and two of the villages are also listed among the most beautiful villages in Italy.

Camogli
Camogli is only a short drive from the extremely popular villages of the Cinque Terre and the Portofino peninsula. The area around the small beach and harbour is especially attractive.

San Fruttuoso
San Fruttuoso a is known monastery Abbazia di San Fruttuoso di Capodimonte from the 1300s, and has the majestic defense tower Torre Doria . In addition, the city is known for the beautiful statue Cristo degli Abissi , a 2½ meter high underwater statue depicting Christ with open arms and gaze directed towards the ocean surface. The statue is 17 meters below the surface, and has been there since it was submerged in 1954.
